The Wesak Festival is spiritually held to be the supreme moment in the annual cycle, when the Buddha and the Christ come together in this sacred ritual. At the pivotal moment of the full moon in Taurus, there is opportunity to share in the "high water-mark of spiritual blessing in the world." (1)
This year, we are developing our Radiant Life theme further as we examine, one each lunar cycle, the Divine Truths of Deity ~ the basic truths commonly held by all the world's revealed religions.
The Divine Truth we are focusing on during the moon cycle surrounding the Taurus, Wesak full moon is the Continuity of Revelation. Throughout this month, may we deepen our pursuit of this important truth, as it is further demonstrated and inevitably will be proved.
The Wesak Festival is in recognition of a present living event. It takes place ... whilst some great and heavenly event is going on, and it is in the nature of a particpating ceremony. This heavenly event takes place annually at the time of the full moon of Taurus ... and at that event there is release upon Earth (according to the measure of man's demand) the blessing of God Himself, transmitted through the Buddha and His Brother, the Christ. (2)
The Wesak Festival is a display of spiritual unity: the Buddha, the Light, bestows the blessing from Shamballa on all humanity, through the Christ, the Love. This is a very auspicious time for humanity and our spiritual growth, and offers an opportunity to recognize the Essential Divinity in all beings of all faiths. In this demonstration, the synthesis of Love and Will is further being demonstrated in our world.
The Taurus Full Moon Festival is an opportunity to meditate, and honor the blessings that come to all of humanity at this time. It is important now to appreciate the unity in our diversity, as groups of all faiths unite all over the planet to invoke the Divine.
We, as a worldwide group, have envisioned a grid of light all over the Earth that connects the light of every Lightworker and each sacred energy vortex. Together we form this Chalice, the Holy Grail prepared to receive the outpouring of blessings from on High.
At the Wesak Full Moon Festival, this light grid of humanity that forms the Chalice is filled up with the blessing of the Buddha through the new incoming energies. At the Goodwill Full Moon Festival these blended energies will be distributed to those groups, individuals and forces actively involved in the Healing of the Nations.
We are advised to open our hearts and minds to find the points of agreement and strengthen them, recognizing that all spiritual paths lead to the same place. When we can cooperate and respect our diversity, we see all expressions as Divine and as part of the Path. We see all as the Path.

We have come to the Wesak Valley
The great doorway of Taurus opens ... a golden white light pours through, bathing our collective consciousness and bringing us to the place of even greater oneness. We rise, united, to meet the light. It illumines our mind and lifts our energy to the highest place. The light is potent, this is the time of Wesak. We now see two great lights within the Light ... the Christ light, forever with us, and the light of the Buddha, appearing briefly for the Festival to inspire us to ever greater heights and insights. They together now reveal the next step on our Divine Path. They are the living Truth and demonstration of the Continuity of Revelation. In this loving light we know yet again that Deity ever loves us and at times of trouble, of seeming chaos, always has intervened to reach out to us with the needed inspiration. The Wisdom, Love and Light filling our consciousness emanates from the very Heart of God, and is evidence of our Divine inner guidance. The Christ and the Buddha combine the Way of the Mind and the Way of the Heart. At this moment, a great change is occurring. Initiation is upon us. Our heart and mind combine in a new and potent alignment, creating a channel for the Divine energy that flows through to all of Humanity and our planet. We are inspired, filled with the fire of Life. In this emerging union, each of us has a responsibility to act as an expression of Divine revelation. When we achieve this, there will be a constant stream of perfect Love working in and though all of Humanity ... to illumine the Life and make our world fully Sacred. We

Alignment During the Taurus cycle ~ New Moon to New Moon
In 2008 the two full moons in Taurus are important in effect on the Life in our world.
Reading Materials
At the new moon prior to the first full moon in Taurus, we begin aligning in preparation for the Wesak Festival two weeks later. In generating the required alignment, we ask you to consider the information synthesis offered here as meditation focus for a month-long period. To aid in this alignment we advocate use of The Great Invocation throughout the cycle.
Significance of Wesak The Forces of Enlightenment are available at the Taurus full moon, marking the high-water mark of spiritual blessing for the world, and opening a channel of communication between humanity and deity.
Wesak Legend According to tradition, at the time of the full moon in Taurus, the Buddha comes to the Wesak Valley of the Himalayas to bring the powerful spiritual energy of Shamballa to the assembled masters, initiates and disciples of the Hierarchy, for the assimilation and eventual distribution of this Shamballa force throughout the world. (Familiarity with this beautiful event will assist in creating the hookup for meditation at the time of the Wesak full moon.)
Divine Truths of Deity~The Continuity of Revelation Throughout history, God has consistently reached out to humanity and illumined our path. "Upon this fact of the continuity of revelation and upon the sequence of this progressive manifestation of the divine nature is based the doctrine of Avatars, of divine Messengers, divine Appearances, and inspired Prophets." (5)
Wesak Safeguarding The full moon phase is to be held as a five-day period. The two days before the full moon are the days of approach and preparation. The day of the full moon is the most auspicious day, it is a time of spiritual retreat and contact, a time to still the mind and maintain inner peace. The two days following the full moon are the days of distribution ... the days when our efforts will be to pass on, or to pass through, that measure of spiritual energy that may have been contacted.
Principle of Essential Divinity The universality of the Wesak ritual unites the world's major religions in a shared holy day in which religious distinctions disappear, as the pure Shamballa energy transmitted at this time honors and blesses that Essential Divinity common among all the world's traditions and faiths.
Taurus Night Sky ~ Moondances During each lunar cycle the Moon, waxing and waning, journeys through the zodiac. It partners with and enlivens the sparkling stars and glowing planets along the way. As the Moon grows in the light provided by our Sun, we too grow in the light of our Soul.
A new Wesak lunar cycle begins April 5. The New Moon, Sun and three planets are enlivening the constellation of the World Savior, Pisces, below the Doorway to Paradise. Lunar theme: Invocation, Intervention ~ Intuition and Initiation
April 6-8 young Crescent Moons spring up strengthening the communication between humanity and Deity. April 8 Seven Sisters capture our attention on several levels! April 10-12 Luna gets intimate with Mars, while visiting the Twins. We are reminded that cooperation leads to harmony, greatness and the synthesis of being. April 14-16 Luna, Leo the Lion, the Lawgiver, the Lord of Karma intervene and evoke the Law of the Soul within humanity. April 18-19 the Sacred Chalice is forming.
April 20-21 the Wesak Full Moon is birthing the Divine Self into the human experience. We are challenged to tread a razor edged path, turn vices into virtues, look for unity beyond duality and communicate with Deity. April 22-23 Wesak's waning Gibbous Moon lights our fire of transformation.
April 25-May 1 morning Luna shrinks, grows and lies low, while we expand to include the "Whole Truth" of our immortal spirit and make an evolutionary and revolutionary break with our outdated mortal ways.

Helpful suggestions for a Wesak Full Moon Ritual
In preparation for this full moon meditation we ask you to be familiar with the Principle of Essential Divinity, the Significance of Wesak, the Legend of the Wesak, the Continuity of Revelation and Safeguarding the Energies.
If at all possible, we suggest being in meditation at the exact time of the full moon. If you are unable to do this, choose a time within 12 hours before or after to align with these energies and be part of this global meditation. We at SouledOut.org will meditate at 9 pm PDT on Saturday, April 19 (04:00 UT), and all who wish to join in at this time are welcome to do so.
Consider ...
What is the appropriate way to join in this meditation ... you may wish to participate in group formation on the physical plane as well as on the inner planes. Whether or not you choose to be "alone" on the physical plane, know you are uniting with many others who also are attuning to the energies available at this Global Festival, and that this group focus creates a powerful channel for the meditation to be potent and effective.
Prior to your meditation take the needed time to create a sacred space and spiritually align your energies.
We Recognize, the Full Moon Festivals Culminate over a Five-Day Period ...
Our meditation focus beginning at the new moon leads into the two "days of preparation" immediately preceding the full moon. These are to be dedicated to spiritual reflection and detachment from everyday concerns, as each prepares to become a vessel for the energies of light and love they will receive and channel. At this time we hold the attitude of dedication and service, and seek to assume that attitude of receptivity to that which our soul will impart which will make us of spiritual use.
The day of the full moon itself is the "day of safeguarding," one of inner peace and silence during which we attempt to contact and consciously hold the energies for the rest of humanity. We will not formulate for ourselves what will happen, nor will we look for results or tangible effects. While one may not observe the exact moment when the moon is full, it's important to find some quiet time to reflect alone or use this opportunity to meditate with others of like mind and focus.
The two succeeding days are called the "days of distribution." We now turn the attention outwards, away from ourselves, and our efforts are to pass on the spiritual energies that have been contacted. We assist these spiritual energies, transformed into goodwill, in flowing to where there is greatest need.

In the life of the separated self, the bull of desire has to be caught and mastered and chased from one point to another, until the time comes when the aspirant can do what Hercules succeeded in doing: ride the bull.
The Lighted Way The entire zodiac can be approached and understood from the angle of light. This light is the inner light, soul light, and its unfolding and increasing radiance is the manifestation of our divine nature. A study of the 12 different lights for each of the constellations of the zodiac will reveal the symbolic story of the growth of the light body, within the Soul of Humanity (the Macrocosm) and within each of us (the Microcosm), and will finally make clear the very purpose of God.
Fixed Cross Taurus, a point on the Cross of the Crucified Christ, is closely related to the second initiation, Baptism, at which the first contact with Shamballa energy is experienced.

The Synthesis of Being This Unity of all existence — the Synthesis of Being — the interconnectedness of All Life — (therefore the Brotherhood of Humanity as well), has been a dominating thought for me for many years. It could very well be that Humanity en masse is ready to learn some more synthetic truth, that could include all religious beliefs, all races, cultures, nationalities, etc. which would include the recognition that the essential identity of every human being is a Soul — that this Soul Light is not only our true identity, but binds us together in Brotherhood — a unity of consciousness — soul consciousness — is accessible through our Hearts, for those willing to strive toward it, together with a recognition of the diversity of form that Unity can take. Given the intellectual advances of the human race, there are many who need to see the Whole Picture in order to understand how they fit into it, and all other parts of the Cosmic Whole as well. They can access their higher nature through the heart and many, many do already, but they need the knowledge of the Head — that shows the Infinite Chain of Existence. This would have to be presented in a clear non-technical language that could be understood by all, but would be based on the scientific discoveries of the nature of Energy and how the Cosmos works. It would be all encompassing, leaving nothing or no one out, and would give those who are seeking answers they perhaps cannot find in their traditional sources of knowledge. If it were truly all encompassing, it would serve to cause 'recognition' by all who read it, no matter what level of consciousness they may have achieved or through what religion or philosophy of thought was used to so achieve. What I have in mind is a sort of outline of existence — which shows the chain of Infinity from the Absolute, Ineffable down through every created form including Earth and all it's occupants. It would show that the human spirit is a reflection of that Whole, which in turn is reflected in the human soul, which can be reflected through human beings in their mental, emotional and physical natures (mind, heart and bodily activity). It would explain that existence is not only the mutation and growth of form, but of consciousness, and it is that continuity of consciousness which can link all that is. It would also explain the laws of being that we are taught in the Teachings. Esoteric knowledge made accessible for anyone who could benefit and is ready to find and apply it. Humanity is the World Disciple and is ready to hear some more truth of the mystery of existence. Anyway, just thought to share this will all of you. Once in meditation I was both surprised and delighted by the great number of souls present. Many, many more that I had experienced at previous Wesak meditations. At first there was some very active energy, it seemed related to world problems, especially the concern over what was happening in Tibet. As we rose to meet light, the very act of rising and a great love sent out quieted the sound and concern. I saw the two lights within the light, the light of the Christ and the light of the Buddha. Then I saw a great circle and a triangle within it. The triangle was spinning in the circle. Then there was a second triangle spinning in the circle. The two triangles overlaying, created a six pointed star, still within the circle spinning. Then all kinds of beautiful things began to flow out of the spinning circle and star — musical notes, brilliant colors, words that would became answers, math equations that were solutions, true love and wisdom poured forth. Then I saw, and became part of the connection between the heart and the mind of Humanity. The Buddha, and the Way of the Mind, and the Christ, and the Way of the Heart, connected in a new and potent way within me, within us all. Then I saw a line extend out of my heart upward and in front of me. I saw a line, as well, extend from my mind. It too was upward and in front of me. The two lines met at a point above and in front of my head forming a triangle with the heart and mind connection that had been created. (Later I sensed the point to be about 6 inches above my head and about a foot in front of it.) It was from this place/space, outside of our physical selves, that we could best extend the light and love to others. And that we were to look for this place/space in all that we met as well.
