Look Up! ... Expansion, Endings, Beginnings, Changes

Hello Sky Watchers,
September 23, 11:14pm PDT marked the beginning of a new lunar cycle, which peaks with the October 8 Full Moon total eclipse and ends Oct. 23, 2:57pm PDT. The folks at SouledOut.org invite you to participate in the Libra Festival Global Meditation.

A new season and a new lunar cycle bring us a fresh start and new beginnings. We can expect an expansion in consciousness thanks to the many people united in meditation during this seasonal and lunar transition, as well as during the 9/21 International Day of Peace Vigil and the 9/23 UN Climate Summit Meditation. Expansion is bound to generate endings, beginnings, changes.

Retrograde Mercury (Oct. 4-25) is always too close to the Sun to be seen, however its solar communion always brings a shift or change in direction. Surrender and maintain during the first half of Mercury's retrograde (before its inferior conjunction 10/16). At this time allow the new incoming cosmic energies to break up the old patterns. During the second half (after 10/16) pay attention to emerging new ideas.

This cycle's Full Moon total eclipse brings a time of endings, culmination points and major changes. It is followed by the Oct. 23 New Moon solar eclipse. This is a repeat eclipse pattern that occurred in April 2014! The darkness of these eclipses demands we be receptive to the infinite unknown. We must stretch to expand our consciousness. We may feel like we are walking across a bridge to a brand new place, with no turning back from where we started. How To Deal With Eclipses

Lunar Theme ~ Laniakea

Stewardship in the Tinyness of our Vastness The Administration of Resources "[Our New Moon] conjoins the Dwarf Planet Makemake [ * ] ... [Both] lie in a principle geometric location amongst the stars of the Virgin, conjoining the North Pole of our galaxy ... this lunar cycle invite[s] us to align ourselves with the core strength and guidance the galactic pole represents, to participate in concert with and respect for all life and the creation process itself. Makemake brings emphasis to the administration of resources in our personal lives and more so for our entire planet. It impels extraordinary feats of achievement to demonstrate we are worthy to steward our beloved home, and to protect and care for all life." - Nick Fiorenza gives insights to this lunar cycle, which begins Sept. 23, 11:14 pm PDT and ends Oct. 23, 2:57 pm PDT.

Humanity is now expanding its consciousness with the discovery that our Milky Way Galaxy has a home in the newly identified Laniakea Supercluster. Our Galaxy is positioned in the outskirts of this ginormous system of galaxies whose name Laniakea (Lah-nee-ah-KAY-uh) means "immeasurable heaven" or "immense heaven."

The rapidly increasing rate of discovery of new planets in our solar system and of other astronomical objects in our universe is a direct statement of humanity's rapidly expanding consciousness occurring on Earth ... The modeling of Laniakea is profound. Its discovery alone is a statement inviting us to shed our limiting perceptual bubbles of our own lives and the universe in which we live, to look at and see things in new ways. It invites us to expand our awareness to a much greater reality as the veils lift before our eyes to reveal the unbounded potential we can become. This too becomes part of this lunar month's theme.- Nick Fiorenza / The Lunar Planner Sept. 24 - Oct. 23

The following quote came from our website's WeCycle Wisdom Blog for September 16. In case you missed it, I offer it now for this lunar cycle's continued expansion of consciousness. One may find the definition of Logos to be helpful.

The Earth Logos shares the life of our Solar Logos, who ensouls the whole solar system. In turn the Solar Logos shares the life of a greater Logos whose “physical body” ... is one corner of the Milky Way Galaxy encompassing the star Sirius, the constellations of the Great Bear and the Pleiades, our solar system, and no doubt other star systems. Beyond that “cosmic Logos” there must be a succession of even greater Logoi, until we come to that Being—awesome and powerful beyond imagination—who ensouls the Supercluster Laniakea. - Christianity and Esoterocism Community

Cosmically Aligned, We Embrace
The Eternal Rhythm of the Ages,
The Rhythm of the Sages

The awareness of our galaxy's place in the immeasurable heaven has brought to mind how humanity is consciously in a better, truer alignment with the cosmos. This is turn reminded me of the above mantram. It is SouledOut.org's meditation focus ~ mantram, for entering the seasonal sign and zodiacal energy stream of Libra. We welcome you to use this invocation throughout the current lunar cycle.

Sept. 26-30, Friday-Tuesday, Dusk
The waxing Crescent Moon guides us to Saturn, Mars, Antares
This lunar phase brings up obstacles from the past that can impede
the new incoming energies and one's growth in consciousness.
The work to overcome these obstacles begins now.

Oct. 1, Wednesday Afternoon, First Quarter Moon exact: 12:32pm PDT (19:32 UT).
This phase signals a balance between light and dark, moving toward the light.
During the First Quarter Moon ...
a continued awareness of that which was conceived at the New Moon is gained.
Ideally any obstacles impeding this awareness are overcome now.
This must happen if the energy released with the coming Full Moon is to be utilized.
Oct. 1, Wednesday Evening
Luna is now in her waxing Gibbous phase.
This phase offers illumination and growth,
only if the obstacles from the past are cleared away.
Use binoculars to examine the Moon's terminator.

Any Morning
-- View brilliant Jupiter above bluish Regulus. Map
Regulus is the heart star of Leo the Lion.
Jupiter rises after midnight, highest at dawn.
Jupiter ascends daily, rising earlier each day.
-- See the sky’s brightest star, Sirius, before dawn
Use Orion's belt to find Sirius.

Naked Eye Planets Hidden from Our View:
-- Venus is unseen in the Sun's glare; reappears early Dec. evenings.
-- Retrograde Mercury (10/4-25) is too close to the Sun to be seen this lunar cycle.
Mercury reappears in the morning sky at the end of October.
--Saturn is sinking into the Sun's afterglow in the SW.
Right timing and a clear horizon are needed to see this planet.

This lunar cycle is about stewardship, administration of resources, expanding our awareness, shedding our limiting perceptual bubbles. It is about finding a balance amidst the endings, beginnings and changes of our expanding consciousness.

We open to finding an interlude, a place of balance. Once found, this is a prelude to our more effective and sensitive progress on the path. This equilibrium awakens our ability to be receptive to the new energies available.

... We see that all truths are but fractions of greater wholes ... and our present search is for more inclusive ways to be.

"Are you not thirsty?" said the lion.

"I'm dying of thirst," said Jill.

Then drink," said the lion.

May I --could I--would you mind going away while I do?" said Jill.

The Lion answered this only by a look and a very low growl.  And as Jill gazed at its motionless bulk, she realized she might as well have asked the whole mountain to move aside for her convenience.

The delicious rippling noise of the stream was driving her nearly frantic.

"Will you promise not to -- do anything to me, if I do come?" said Jill.

"I make no promise," said the Lion.

Jill was so thirsty now that, without noticing it, she had come a step nearer.

Do you eat girls?" she said.

"I have swallowed up girls and boys, women and men, kings and emperors,

cities and realms," said the Lion.  It didn't say this as if it were boasting, nor as if it were sorry,

nor as if it were angry.  It just said it.

"I daren't come and drink," said Jill.

"Then you will die of thirst," said the lion.

"Oh dear!" said Jill, coming another step nearer.  "I suppose I must go and look for another stream then."

"There is no other stream," said the lion. ++++
