Reflections ~ New Moon With every New Moon our soul goes into meditation and aligns with the inspiration of the Nirmanakayas; a potential is enlivened and a seed of consciousness is formed deep within. Take some time to create a sacred space. A new cycle is beginning. Gemini Twins, Gate of Man The New Moon and Sun lie at the feet of the Gemini Twins just past the Gate of Man, at 5º sidereal Gemini. This gate is an open doorway into the human family, physical incarnation and the form life; it marks the beginning of the human experience and its potentiality. The second great gate, the Gate of God lies directly opposite on the zodiacal wheel, at 5° sidereal Sagittarius. It opens into the spiritual kingdom and marks the climax of human experience, consummation. The Milky Way, the river of souls, connects these two great gates. Gemini, a constellation on the ecliptic, is connected to the plane of our solar system. With its "feet" upon the Milky Way's galactic equator it is also is connected to the galactic plane. Gemini's horizons stretch from the mere physical Earth, to our individual "soular" system and beyond into a galactic group "soular" system. This is also represented by Gemini's Twin stars—Castor aligned to the form and Pollux to the soul. Their role is to unite and work together for the benefit of humanity. They link the soul's purpose and destiny into our everyday activities. Menkalinan, Betelgeuse The Sun and Moon are in alignment with the star Menkalinan of Auriga the charioteer and Betelgeuse of Orion the warrior. Menkalinan helps Capella the Starseed Messenger of Light.
Note: It is also said the directed streams of energies from Betelgeuse impact the heart center and aid in the service of those who are spiritually attuned. Can you see the teapot-shaped asterism of Sagittarius? The center of our Milky Way Galaxy, with its bulging heart, lies between Scorpius the Scorpion and Sagittarius the Archer. It stretches from the southern horizon, overhead, to the northeast toward and beyond Cassiopeia. Midnight's Milky Way Look Up! Northeast's Tremendous Triangle The Summer Triangle is a stellar right triangle on the rise. Vega is the brightest star and western point; Deneb the dimmest star and eastern point, Altair is the southern point. Hercules the Strong Man lies about a third of the way from bright white Vega to golden Arcturus in the northwest. Look for his four star wedge-shaped torso. Reflections ~ First Quarter Moon, Virgo the Virgin June 28-30, Sunday-Tuesday, the growing Moon lies in the constellation Virgo the Virgin. It enters Virgo on Sunday; the following two nights it approaches then passes her brightest star Spica. During these three evenings both the Moon and Spica set within an hour past midnight. The First Quarter Moon exact Monday, June 29, at 4:28am PDT; 11:28 UT squares the Sun bringing up a tension, as it signals the balance between light and dark … moving toward the light. Sagittarius resides where the river of the Milky Way (galactic plane) flows into the ecliptic (plane of our solar system). North in the heavens above the Full Moon lies the star Vega. Our Sun and Earth are headed in the direction of this star at an amazing speed of 12 miles per second! This point in space toward which our sun is racing is known as the Apex of the Sun’s Way or the Solar Apex.
The exact Full Moon and Vega are in conjunction. The exact position of the Full Moon is asking us to take aim with our intuition and pursue the awakening of our soul, to build our future with an empowered heart, our unique focus of love that manifests the Truth. Cancer provides an opportunity for the soul’s love to stimulate the light within in the form. The constellation Gemini keeps the energies between the dualities of soul and form active and flowing, so that eventually they reach synthesis and unity. Mercury’s emanations facilitate this process by illuminating the higher mind of humanity, creating a link between the soul and the personality. In Summary The Sagittarian Archer is adept at piercing the veil of falsehood, unifying dualities and knowing the way to go. The sparkling Pleiades, a famous star cluster, marks the shoulder of Taurus the Bull. It is said that the Pleiades, linked to Sirius, transmit the light of God (universal mind) into our solar system and into our minds, enabling God's light to descend on Earth. Aldebaran, truly the "Bull’s eye" star of enlightenment, holds a vision that is seeded by the Pleiades. It is a divine ideal that can aid humanity’s evolutionary process through its political systems. The horns of the Bull embody struggles that are age-old and evolutionary. The northern horn and its star tip, Elnath represent perseverance and breakthroughs, while the southern horn and its star tip Al Hecka symbolize stalemates, standoffs and blind habitual fighting. Mars positioned in Taurus the Bull brings forth struggles between the desires for the form and the freedom from attachments.
