The New Moon is really a no Moon! This Moon is too close to the Sun to be seen. It is hidden from our view by the Sun's glowing light.

Note: For those living in San Francisco this New Moon takes place below the eastern horizon about 45 minutes before sunrise. The Sun, New Moon and planets are located in the same constellations for other parts of the world; these constellations, in differing time zones, lie in a different location above or below the horizon.

The Goodwill New Moon

The Goodwill Festival, the last of the Three Major Planetary Spiritual Festivals, is celebrated globally at the Full Moon occurring during Gemini. At this time the will-to-good is released into human consciousness; its potency affects the nations of the world through the New Group of World Servers. As a result, humanity is brought closer to Shamballa. See Significance of the Goodwill Festival.

With every New Moon our soul goes into meditation and aligns with the inspiration of the Nirmanakayas; a potential is enlivened and a seed of consciousness is formed deep within. Take some time to create a sacred space. A new cycle is beginning.

Reflections ~ Taurus the Bull,
Aldebaran / Antares  Axis,
Pleiades, Betelgeuse, Perseus, Mercury

The Sun and Moon embrace in the constellation Taurus the Bull. The enlightened mind is the gift of Taurus when one transforms desire into spiritual aspiration. A desire that has no concern for the goodwill of others can reek havoc and violence on Earth. Attachment to our desires and to a specific manifestation of them imprisons us in a limited, fearful and selfish world. Taurus at its highest brings us spiritual illumination and a larger, more inclusive view of the world.

The Sun and Moon diagonally line up with the Pleiades (shoulder of Taurus the Bull), Aldebaran (eye of the Bull) and Betelgeuse (shoulder of Orion).

As the Sun and Moon influence the Pleiades star cluster and Aldebaran, they also enliven the Aldebaran / Antares Axis. Antares located in the constellation Scorpius, lies directly opposite in the zodiacal wheel.

Aldebaran is truly a bull’s eye, a star of enlightenment. It holds a vision that is seeded by the Pleiades. It is a divine ideal that can aid humanity’s evolutionary process through its political systems. Antares insures that the visions of humanity are in alignment with this ideal. Note: Each year the Goodwill New Moon or young Crescent Moon awakens illuminating Aldebaran and its divine ideal within humanity, while the Goodwill Full or almost Full Moon activates rebellious Antares ensuring our growth, evolution and change.

In 2009 Betelgeuse adds its potent and influential forces to the New Moon alignment. These directed streams of energies impact the heart center and aid in the service of those who are spiritually attuned. What the soul is to the human, Betelgeuse is to our solar system.

In 2009 the Sun and Moon also conjoin the stars of Perseus our hero. This constellation stimulates humanity's initiatory process with its evolutionary challenges and successful outcome. Mirphak, Algol and Mercury now come into play.

Mirphak [elbow of Perseus], a fortuitous star, star of the hero, embodies the totality and success of all that Perseus has been through ... Here we are asked to claim the true gift of the inner refinement that the past initiatory fires of life have catalyzed, and to accept that our trials had to precede stepping forth into our greater fulfillment and destiny. Nick Fiorenza

Alignments with Algol [slain head of Medussa in the hand of Perseus] can draw a relentless assault of experience that can block or divert us from our purpose until we realize the monster is but within--the fear based reflection of self. Algol forces us to look at self rather than at the apparent monsters in the outer world-to recognize they are of our own projection, to own and embrace the demon within. Nick Fiorenza

Mercury the messenger of the gods is aligned with Algol at the time of the New Moon. Mercury conveys and emphasizes the message to look within when the fearful and painful fires of initiation rage. The energies of Mercury illuminate the higher mind, strengthening the bonds between the personality and soul. They work well with the energies of Perseus in guaranteeing a successful outcome.

In Summary

The New Moon inaugurates a potent goodwill cycle that affects the nations of the world. Positioned in the constellation of Taurus the Bull humankind can begin transforming desire into spiritual aspiration and the willingness to do good in one's world. The enlivened Aldebaran / Antares Axis insures the distribution of this healing, evolutionary energy into the political systems of our planet.

The stars of Perseus align humanity with an initiatory process that ultimately results in success. We can now claim the gift of past initiations, while current and future initiations insure greater fulfillment.

The presence of Mercury is a guiding force, strengthening our bond to the soul and its manifestation on Earth. Betelgeuse at a higher turn of the spiral prepares the Earth for its greater destiny by evolving the heart and aiding in the service of those who are spiritually attuned.

Note: This is the time of the year, when the Gemini Twins, representing the soul and personality, can be seen united, standing tall on the western horizon at sunset. It is interesting that this is also the time of graduations and marriages. (Each year at the beginning of January, the Gemini Twins can be seen rising feet first above the eastern horizon at sunset.)

Reflections ~ Gemini and the Goodwill Festival

The following is culled and excerpted from: Alice Bailey’s Esoteric Astrology pgs. 343–355. Helpful links have been added.

Gemini keeps the interplay of energies between dualities active and flowing so that eventually they reach synthesis and unity. Gemini is "the constellation of the resolution of duality into a fluid synthesis". Gemini forms a triangle with each pair of opposing constellations ... the 12 constellations can then synthesize and become the 6.

Gemini is the entrance for the energy of Sirius. The Love of Deity (2nd Ray) pours through Gemini into our solar system. The Cosmic Christ appears on the golden triangle formed by Gemini (the head), the Great Bear (one foot) and the Pleiades (the other foot). Hearing the cry of the Mother (Virgo), the Seeker (Sagittarius) and the submerged fish (Pisces) the golden triangle morphs into the Mutable Cross.

The constellation Gemini along with its ruling planets and the Great Lodge are responsible for setting up the necessary stimulation and magnetic fields between the animal and spiritual kingdoms that produced individualization and the human kingdom. That's why the June / Gemini Festival is so uniquely linked to humanity and spiritual aspiration. Amazing food for thought!

Gemini's Ruling Planets

Both Mercury and Venus are rulers of Gemini.

Mercury (exoteric ruler) conditions the personality life and creates Divine messengers. Its emanations first stimulate the concrete mind to distinguish between the self and not self. They then illuminate the higher mind creating a link between the Soul and the personality.

The emanations of Venus (esoteric ruler) helps one begin to understand the causes and conditions of harmony and conflict and thereby lovingly and wisely link the lower mind to the higher mind.

Venus is thus the focus of synthesis, the resolution of polarity … the blending quality which aids in the resolution of duality. It is the energy of Venus which promotes diplomacy and establishes Right Human Relations between all people and between nations. Venus’s great potency lies in its ability to bring about harmonious relationships within pairs of opposites, thus further creative manifestation on all levels. This may be compared to the function of Mercury, which awakens consciousness by relating opposites, but does not harmonize or blend them. Esoteric Venus

Emanations of cooperation, unity as well as a divine sense of the Whole are being focused through the constellation Gemini, and are potently impressing humanity during Gemini!

Tune to the cooperative Gemini Twins. Though opposites, representing the form (Castor) and spirit (Pollux), they innately work together for the benefit of the whole. United they are and do something greater than either can alone.

Note: Jupiter conjoins Neptune May 27. The joining of Jupiter and Neptune can arouse our ideals and awaken a greater sense of compassion. This is the first of 3 exact conjunctions in 2009! The next is July 10 and the third December 21.

Imagine humankind within every nation uniting to express the heartfelt potential that benefits all!

Observe Three Lunar Phases!

May 29, Friday, Luna's waxing crescent phase lies west of blue-white Regulus, positioned at the end of the sickle asterism of the cosmic Lion.

May 30, Saturday, First Quarter Luna forms a triangle with Saturn, our Lord of the Rings and Regulus, the heart of Leo the Lion. This phase is exact at 8:22pm PDT (03:22 UT 5/31)

May 31, Sunday, waxing Gibbous Luna lies to the left of yellowish Saturn at the "tail end" of Leo. Look for bluish Spica to the left of the Moon; see this 5/31 10pm Map for another view.

Saturn ~ Planetary Treat During Gemini

Reflections ~ Luna,
Leo the Lion, Regulus, Saturn

Leo the Lion, Regulus the Royal Hearted Lawgiver, Saturn Lord of Karma and Luna's increasing light are preparing us to work together with divine will and purpose. They are evoking the Law of the Soul within humanity.

Now [with Saturn in Leo] the focus will be on leadership, honesty, integrity, and the leaders themselves will be facing stern tests. ... It often brings about shifts in national borders and even in regimes themselves.

... We must learn to balance the value of the individual with the needs of the collective. That’s the essence of the polarity between Leo and Aquarius. Jim Sher

A backward question mark of stars curves up from Regulus, the Lion-Hearted Lawgiver. It represents Leo the Lion's chest, majestic mane and head, this pattern is also called the Sickle. The Sickle has the ability to cut through confusion; Regulus the Lawgiver can then stimulate a response in humanity that expresses the quality known as love-wisdom.

The fully integrated personality who stands out from the "herd" and is ignited by the fire of Divine Will is the highest expression of Leo. The emanations of this constellation prepare one for participation in the New Group of World Servers.

Saturn's opposition to Uranus on the zodiacal wheel, a lengthy aspect lasting into 2010, creates a tension of polarities. This brings about major social, religious and cultural transformations. Innovation, practicality, resourcefulness, compassion and the willingness to change are our allies now.

Cultivating practices that support genuine self-love, goodwill and the connection with the soul help humanity evolve the heart and rise up from the initiatory fires burning in every nation.

Imagine Saturn the lord of karma and the Lawgiver's sickle clearing away obstacles and giving rise to a new era governed by the fire of Divine Will and a loving-wise humanity.

As the Moon grows in the light provided by our Sun,
we too grow in the light of our Soul.

Reflections ~ The Waxing Gibbous Moon

The waxing Gibbous Moon is more than half lit, moving toward its full sunlit phase. Illumination and growth are offered by this lunar phase, only if the obstacles from the past are cleared away. This must happen, if the energy released with the coming Goodwill Full Moon is to be utilized.

June 1-3, Monday-Wednesday evening, the Gibbous Moon transits the constellation Virgo the Virgin, our Heavenly Holy Grail. This transit culminates Tuesday, June 2, in a conjunction with Spica her stellar sacred womb.

... Virgo is the pregnant, expectant aspect of maternity; she is expecting the divine child in whom both principles of spirit and matter are blended into perfect unity. This child is born in every human life simply by the opening of the heart, and the subsequent desire to lovingly serve those around us.

... As love manifests itself more fully within ourselves, we naturally follow its light into fuller service and a wiser understanding of the plan on earth. And when this occurs, we are on our way to becoming divine sons and daughters of God, working through matter on the physical plane. Virgo Zodiacal Deity

The immortal essence of humanity is once again being stirred from its slumber by the Moon's journey through Virgo. A new balance of spirit and matter is being conceived within.

During these three days imagine the Light Grid around planet Earth glowing and growing forming a sacred chalice, ready to receive the energies of the Goodwill Full Moon Festival.

June 4, Thursday evening, the waxing Moon aligns with the the two brightest stars of Libra. Libra demands justice and the perfect point of equilibrium, where neither spirit nor matter dominates.

The Libran Way synthesizes duality with compassion and the right use of opposites. Libra leads between the two great lines of force, allowing the scales of justice to come into balance. Libra is a razor edged path.

The path that is trodden by the Server is the path of fire that passes through his heart and leads to the head. It is not on the path of pleasure, nor on the path of pain that liberation may be taken or that wisdom comes. It is by the transcendence of the two ... that the goal is reached ... See human hearts ablaze with goodwill and compassion leading to a Divine re-union on Earth.

June 5-7, Friday-Sunday night, the Goodwill Moon transits the cosmic Scorpion. Friday the Moon approaches the head of Scorpius and Saturday it lies very near Antares the red heart star of Scorpius.

Note: The Moon occults Antares for viewers in southern and eastern North America, northern South America and northwestern Africa at 9:00pm PDT (04:00 UT 6/7). See IOTA for details.

Sunday the Full Moon occurs at 11:12am PDT (18:12 UT). This Moon lies above the stinger of the Scorpius near the galactic center.

The transformative fires of Scorpius influence a turning point in the life of humanity and the individual, evolving one toward an identification with the Divine. Learn more about this Full Moon and the Goodwill Festival below.

Exact Full Moon: 11:12am PDT (18:12 UT)

Note: The dated spheres represent the approximate position of the Moon on the given night. The location of the exact Full Moon is halfway between the dated spheres.

The sweeping J-shape of Scorpius journeys along the southern horizon from east to west, and directly behind it follows the teapot-shaped asterism of Sagittarius and telescopic Pluto. By 10:45pm the sprawling "J" shape of the Cosmic Scorpion fully rises in the southeast. All-Sky Chart At 1:00am Scorpius lies directly south and by 4:00am it is setting in the west. Note: The light of Moon may interfere with observing the constellation shapes.

Sagittarius, a centaur archer, points his arrow at both Antares, the red heart star of Scorpius and also at the Galactic Center (GC), the Heart of our Milky Way Galaxy, the family of 200 billion stars to which we and our Sun belong. The Milky Way is widest in Sagittarius and Scorpius because the great bulging central hub of our galaxy is in this direction.

BTW: This is the Full Moon nearest the summer solstice and is therefore known as the Honey Moon. Always located low in the sky opposite the high summer Sun, this Moon is more yellow or honey golden in appearance due to the thicker atmosphere and pollution through which its light must pass. Perhaps this Moon is a reminder of June weddings and honeymoon couples or the honey wine (mead) that newlyweds drank each day for a month in some countries of Europe. May this Honey Moon bring you the harmonious marriage of Spirit and form.

Reflections ~ Sagittarius, Scorpius, Antares

June 6, Saturday night, the nearly Full Moon activates Antares, the red heart star of Scorpius. The Sagittarian Archer aims his arrow toward the Moon and red Antares. (see map above)

Sagittarius sees the Vision for humanity and knows the Way to go. Scorpius influences a turning point in the life of humanity and in the life of the individual human being. It reorients the personality to the life of the Soul and later to initiation and sensitivity to the Divine Plan. Scorpius is the burning ground and is synonymous with transformation. Antares, associated with awesome power that can be hideous or sublime, wields the Fire of God and gets one's kundalini running!

Note: The Moon occults (hides) Antares for observers in southern and eastern North America, northern South America and northwestern Africa at 9:00pm PDT (04:00 UT 6/7). IOTA

Reflections ~ Aldebaran / Antares Axis

Each year the Goodwill lunar cycle activates the alignment that exists between Aldebaran, the star of illumination in the constellation Taurus, and Antares, the heart star of Scorpius. The New or young Moon lies near Aldebaran, while the Full or nearly Full Moon lies near Antares. Hmmm ... both stars are red in color. The Source of Life and Divine Will are associated with the color red.

Directly opposite Antares in the sidereal center of Taurus is Aldebaran, eye of the Bull. The Aldebaran / Antares axis is indicative of political systems, their people, and their opposing politics. Aldebaran holds and radiates vision for ideal physical logistics for authorities to put in place so as to aid the peoples of the Earth through evolutionary process and transition. Antares ensures that the current and accepted approaches and visions do not become static or antiquated. Antares ensures growth, evolution and change.

If the Scorpion meets those bullheaded and stuck in their antiquated modality of life, the Scorpion's sting is not far off — hence its classical association with rebellious and destructive forces. Antares keeps the vision of Aldebaran up-to-date by challenging authoritarian powers. When there are rebellious or terrorizing forces assaulting the established order, this reflects the need to realize that the established order is no longer supporting in ways truly nourishing to the needs of the people, and requires some type of reform — reform that if denied, may result in some level of, otherwise unneeded, destruction. Nick Fiorenza

It's time to re-evaluate and get rid of those antiquated governing systems and personal habits that no longer nourish the eternal spirit in all.

The Goodwill Full Moon

June 7, Sunday, the Full Moon is exact at 11:12am PDT (18:12 UT). The Festival of the Goodwill Full Moon is significant in that it brings an abundant tide of love for humanity to use as goodwill in establishing rightful world conditions. It marks a World Day of Invocation celebrating the collective aspiration of humanity to act in harmony with its highest spiritual goals.

We at SouledOut.org are participating in the World Invocation Day Vigil. Join us in a 15-minute prayer / meditation for a world culture of cooperation, justice and peace on both June 6 and June 7 from 9:00pm-9:15pm PDT (16:00-16:15 UT) and also on June 6 from 11:00am-11:15am PDT; 18:00-18:15 UT). Begin and end by sounding The Great Invocation.

Any Full Moon experience can offer us greater illumination of our essential divinity. Issues worked on since the New Moon come to a climax. If the restrictions of the past have been released during the waxing Moon, then the Full Moon can bring fulfillment. If not, the Full Moon might bring serious mental conflicts, possibly affecting the physical body.

What was conceived at the New Moon: Healing of the Nations ... An Initiation and Evolution of the Heart, (review above) now comes to fruition and is birthed into the full light of our conscious minds.

Full Moon's Position
Reflections ~ Galactic Heart

The exact Full Moon, located halfway between the dated spheres seen on the map above, lies invisibly below the horizon for observers in North America and Europe. By moonrise Sunday evening, June 7, it journeys further east above the stinger of Scorpius, in conjunction with the Galactic Center (GC). (Review map above.) The Scorpion’s “rebellious” Antares and stinger make sure the governing vision of humanity is current; they align us with the expansive, inclusive heart of our Milky Way Galaxy.

Special blessings pour out of the Galactic Heart for the Earth during this time. Since our solar system rotates around the Galactic Center, the GC can be thought of as the Sun of our solar system. Note: At a distance of 26,000 light-years from the Galactic Center, the Solar System completes a Galactic orbit in about 226 million years.

These energies draw us toward our spiritual source, stimulating the Principle of Goodwill and humanity’s aspiration toward God. These energies support our greater wellbeing and evolutionary fulfillment. They offer us the opportunity to transcend our little selves and manifest our divinity in our everyday world.

Reflections ~ Full Moon's Illumination

The Full Moon during Gemini is illuminated by the Sun positioned between the horns of the cosmic Bull. Gemini keeps the interplay of energies between dualities active and flowing so that eventually they reach synthesis and unity. The horns of Taurus represent a battleground with the southern horn symbolic of stalemates and standoffs, and the northern horn characteristic of perseverance and breakthroughs.

Gemini's emanations, the healing of the nations and humankind's evolution require that opposing energies keep interacting until co-operation achieved. In this initiatory process Taurus the Bull enlightens the mind and evolves the heart by transforming "desire without goodwill" into spiritual aspiration, the will-to-good.

In Summary

As we again celebrate the spirit of humanity, dedicate ourselves to right human relations and align with the Will of God, our energies are being expanded to include all of humanity, the solar system, the galaxy and the spiritual kingdom!

During the Goodwill Festival of Unification, the Archer, the Scorpion, the Gemini Twins, the cosmic Bull, as well as at the Heart of our Galaxy and Shamballa are all evoking a new humanity. This aspiring humanity will undergo an initiation and evolution of the heart that will lead to a healing of the nations.

Open to the outpouring of this Festival's special blessings. Allow the will-to-good to enter your consciousness and affect our world.

Divine Destiny of Humanity

June 8-9, Monday-Tuesday, the waning Gibbous Moon transits Sagittarius. It first lies at the top of the Sagittarian teapot asterism, then at the elbow of the elbow of Sagittarius. Note: The Moon conjoins Pluto Monday 5:43pm PDT (00:43 UT Tuesday). Use the map above for orientation.

Sagittarius rides toward the light leading humanity beyond its mortal limits toward its spiritual inheritance. Open to the emanations of this heavenly archer who has the ability to evolve the 4th human kingdom into the 5th spiritual kingdom so that all Children of God may celebrate.

When the dual forces of the cosmic brothers (Gemini) become the energy of the one who rides towards the light (Sagittarius) then the fourth becomes the fifth. Humanity, the link, becomes the Hierarchy, the bestower of all good. Then all the Sons [and Daughters] of God rejoice. Words of the Old Commentary found in Esoteric Astrology, pg. 56 / page online

Pluto in Sagittarius impresses humanity to aim for the illuminating vision that includes the “Whole” Truth that unites us all.

Reflections ~ Goodwill's Waning
Gibbous Moon, Jupiter and Neptune

Ideally the waning Gibbous Moon is a time that readies us to manifest anew. It brings illumination to the influences of the entire lunar cycle. If not, dis-ease results.

Jupiter's prograde and retrograde motion in 2009, bring it in exact conjunction with telescopic Neptune three-times!

In late May (at dawn), mid-July (at midnight), and again in the third week of December (evening sky) both planets will be so close to each other they will visible in the same field of a telescope. This is pretty rare. DiscoverySpace [December Map+Full Article]

Note: Jupiter's first conjunction with Neptune occurred at the beginning of this lunar cycle, May 27. Since then Jupiter has journeyed east of Neptune. June 15 Jupiter is stationary retrograde. Afterwards Jupiter moves westerly back toward Neptune for its July 10 conjunction. BTW: Neptune began its retrograde journey May 28/29. When any planet is retrograde, it is in a close approach to Earth and we feel its energies more potently.

Jupiter in the dim constellation Capricornus assists one in transcending their crystalized lower nature by replacing desire with love, hence bringing a triumphant soul into manifestation. Telescopic Neptune located in this same constellation aids our rebirth by helping us rebuild or create structures that manifest our dreams, our spirit on Earth. These two planets working through the constellation Capricornus can open the doorway to the head center and bestow humanity with divine purpose and vision.

This celestial pairing brings forth more than meets the eye. The joining of Jupiter and Neptune can arouse our ideals and awaken a greater sense of compassion. The prolonged encounter of these two planets aids in the healing of the nations and the evolution of the heart of humanity.

The Jupiter-Neptune several month conjunction surrounds the start of a new Jupiter-Neptune 12.7-year cycle occurring in September, which continues into 2022. The few month period ahead, from June through December inspires expansive visions and ideals, and brings the mobilizing force to bring them into fulfillment. Also synthesizing with Chiron[*], this is just what we need to cross the vast abyss that our world faces. Nick Fiorenza / Lunar Cycle: 5/24/09-6/22/09

The bright star to the south of Jupiter and telescopic Neptune is Fomalhaut. It lies at the mouth of the great Southern Fish, Pisces Austrinus, which drinks from the jug of Aquarius. Fomalhaut is associated with the transition of the ages. This Royal Star stimulates a humanitarian vision for our world and advances the flow of resources in this direction.

Luna passing through this area reminds us to manifest our highest ideals and herald in a new age of compassion and healing.

Jupiter ~ Planetary Treat During Gemini

Reflections ~ Last Quarter Moon, Uranus

The Last Quarter Moon exact Sunday, June 15, at 3:15pm PDT (22:15 UT) can bring a crisis in consciousness as the Moon squares the Sun. This cycle's experiences have culminated and one must now prepare for rebirth by initiating change.

Three hours after the exact Last Quarter phase, Luna conjoins telescopic Uranus in the constellation Pisces the World Savior. Uranus in Pisces creates a difference by arousing a willful rejection of a limited reality. It's emanations shift humanity into new visions that encompass the greater whole and lead to greater freedom.

Here again, there's more than meets the eye. Saturn's opposition to Uranus on the zodiacal wheel, a lengthy aspect lasting into 2010, creates a tension of polarities. The new and unconventional energies of Uranus want to free themselves from the conformity and long-established energies represented by Saturn. This vital interaction brings about major social, religious and cultural transformations.

Juno[*] and Uranus make their first of three conjunctions, triggered on the Last Quarter Moon, which kicks off a period of radical changes and unique opportunities for relationships and partnerships of all types. This period continues through November 2009. Juno's arrival to join Uranus in opposition to Saturn is one of several significant events occurring in the few year long Saturn-Uranus Opposition. Nick Fiorenza / Lunar Cycle: 5/24/09-6/22/09

Change is in the air and resistance to it is futile. What can you do to align with this cycle's will-to-good energies and humankind's rebirthing process? What kinds of partnerships and relationships foster a wholesome condition? What limiting influences must fall away? What changes are you prepared to make for the spirit to thrive?

BTW: Venus and Mars are in exact conjunction solstice Sunday, June 21, at 6:10am PDT (13:10 UT). See the Date Table for additional events.

Reflections ~ Luna's Last Vestiges

Venus, Mars. Perseus

The waning Crescent Moon phase brings enlightenment at a deep level, a time of conscious growth, clarification of values and the surrender to a new future. Rebirth can occur and playfulness can come forth.

As the Goodwill lunar cycle ends a new day is dawning with Luna's last vestiges and the celestial union of loving, wise Venus with fiery, willful Mars. These yin and yang planets are at closest approach in the constellation Aries, where Divine ideas are born and new cycles of opportunities emerge.

Venus in Aries has a strong urge to merge and fuse opposites for the greater good. Mars in Aries will do battle to clear the path for the unfolding expression of divinity. This planetary union in Aries during the Goodwill cycle is Divine! Mars naturally brings opposing forces together for interaction and Venus naturally fosters diplomacy by establishing right relationship.

Mars and Venus conjoin the stars of Perseus our hero with a focus on Algol. See these two maps: 1, 2. Note: Perseus was an influence at the beginning of this lunar cycle (review above). Perseus stimulates humanity's initiatory process with its evolutionary challenges leading to a successful outcome. Algol is the head of slain Medusa held in the hand of Perseus.

Algol forces us to look at self rather than at the apparent monsters in the outer world-to recognize they are of our own projection, to own and embrace the demon within. Nick Fiorenza

Mercury, Pleiades, Aldebaran / Antares Axis

Mercury lines up with the Pleiades (shoulder of Taurus the Bull) and Aldebaran (eye of the Bull). This in turn enlivens the Aldebaran / Antares Axis. Antares located in the constellation Scorpius, lies directly opposite in the zodiacal wheel.

Aldebaran is truly a "bull’s eye", a star of enlightenment. It holds a vision that is seeded by the Pleiades, a divine ideal that can aid humanity's evolutionary process through its political systems, its nations. Rebellious Antares ensures that the visions of humanity are in alignment with this ideal guaranteeing our growth, evolution and change.

Note: This visionary and transformational Axis affecting the nations of the world, has been directly stimulated by 3 different lunar phases during the Goodwill cycle. The New Moon aligned with Aldebaran, the nearly Full Moon with Antares and now the waning Crescent Moon and Mercury with Aldebaran.

Mercury the messenger of the gods illuminates the mind and accentuates the enlightening qualities of the Pleiades and Aldebaran. All three celestial bodies assist in anchoring the light of God on Earth. In addition Mercury’s powers of communication and interpretation linked to the Aldebaran / Antares Axis and the last two vestiges of the waning Goodwill Moon aid in the healing of the nations.

In Summary

With the influence of these celestial energies, humanity stands at a doorway of initiation. We have the potential to face our fears and bring opposing forces into right relationship. We also have the needed alignments for the rational mind to make an intuitive leap, access divine ideas and anchor the the light of God on Earth.

As this Goodwill lunar cycle draws to a close, the heavens portend a successful evolutionary outcome that leads to a new cycle of rebirth and a healing of the nations. Play your part well. Rejoice and celebrate! Not only is a new day dawning, a new season is beginning!
