The Goodwill New Moon
With every New Moon our soul goes into meditation; a potential is enlivened and a seed of consciousness is formed deep within. Take some time to create a sacred space. A new cycle is beginning. BTW: This New Moon is the closest New Moon of 2008. Its influence is strong on us, as well on the tides, which manifest at an extreme high and low.
Reflections
~ Taurus the Bull, The Sun and Moon embrace in the constellation Taurus the Bull. The enlightened mind is the gift of Taurus when one transforms desire into spiritual aspiration. Venus (right relationship), the Sun (masculine) and Moon (feminine) diagonally line up with and stimulate Aldebaran the Bulls eye, our star of enlightenment. These celestial bodies influence not only Aldebaran in the constellation Taurus but also, Antares in the constellation Scorpius, which lies directly opposite in the zodiacal wheel. The Aldebaran / Antares axis is expressive of political systems, their people, and their opposing politics. Aldebaran holds the enlightened vision, while Antares ensures that the visions of humanity are in alignment with this ideal. Note: Each year the Goodwill New Moon or young Crescent Moon enlivens illuminating Aldebaran seeding its divine ideal within humanity, while the Goodwill Full or almost Full Moon activates rebellious Antares ensuring our growth, evolution and change. In 2008 Venus brings a wise, creative, unifying love to the Aldebaran / Antares axis. This love aligned with Divine Will understands the causes of harmony and conflict, fosters diplomacy and resolves polarities. It links the lower mind to the higher mind by increasing knowledge and then turns knowledge into Wisdom.
Reflections
~ Venus, Mercury, In alignment with Venus and the Sun we have Mercury the messenger of the gods. Mercury's powers of communication and interpretation, work well with the wise diplomacy of Venus and aid in conveying the vision of Aldebaran. Mercury illuminates the higher mind, strengthening the bonds between the personality and soul, between matter and spirit. These alignments occur on the horns of the Bull, which embody struggles that are age-old and evolutionary. The northern horn represents perseverance and breakthroughs, while the southern horn symbolizes stalemates, standoffs and blind habitual fighting. We know the multitude of global struggles and experience the increased opportunity to interact with them. We often hang on the horns of a dilemma having to make a difficult choice. Desires and spiritual aspirations tug and pull at humanity. The New Moon alignments provide us with hope and a well of energies we can draw from. We need only invoke these energies and allow them to evoke right relationship in our world. Both Venus and Mercury are approaching an exact conjunction with the Sun, Mercury on June 7 and Venus on June 8/9. This alignment allows their unified qualities to radiate throughout our solar system for several weeks, as they move through the glowing radiance of our central luminary. The Earth is in direct alignment with these solar/planetary radiations. See a solar system map and learn more here. Begin absorbing the energies of the Sun, while invoking the qualities of Venus and Mercury. Continue this practice until the Last Quarter Moon of this lunar cycle, June 26. Soon afterwards Mercury exits the Sun's glowing light, Venus remains within the solar embrace until mid-July.
In Summary We live in a world of polarities and resultant struggles. Spirit and matter are constantly evolving toward synthesis. By being aware of the available energies, invoking their evolutionary qualities and allowing these qualities to evoke right relationship, we have the hope of experiencing breakthroughs, the will-to-good, and the process of unification. Reflections ~ Gemini and the Goodwill Festival
Gemini keeps the interplay of energies between dualities active and flowing so that eventually they reach synthesis and unity. Gemini is "the constellation of the resolution of duality into a fluid synthesis". Gemini forms a triangle with each pair of opposing constellations ... the 12 constellations can then synthesize and become the 6. Gemini is the entrance for the energy of Sirius. The Love of Deity (2nd Ray) pours through Gemini into our solar system. The Cosmic Christ appears on the golden triangle formed by Gemini (the head), the Great Bear (one foot) and the Pleiades (the other foot). Hearing the cry of the Mother (Virgo), the Seeker (Sagittarius) and the submerged fish (Pisces) the golden triangle morphs into the Mutable Cross. The constellation Gemini along with its ruling planets and the Great Lodge are responsible for setting up the necessary stimulation and magnetic fields between the animal and spiritual kingdoms that produced individualization and the human kingdom. That's why the June / Gemini Festival is so uniquely linked to humanity and spiritual aspiration. Amazing food for thought!
Both Mercury and Venus are rulers of Gemini. Mercury (exoteric ruler) conditions the personality life and creates Divine messengers. Its emanations first stimulate the concrete mind to distinguish between the self and not self. They then illuminate the higher mind creating a link between the Soul and the personality. The emanations of Venus (esoteric ruler) helps one begin to understand the causes and conditions of harmony and conflict and thereby lovingly and wisely link the lower mind to the higher mind.
Review ... Both Venus and Mercury have been important to setting the tone of this Goodwill Lunar cycle (see New Moon above) and both are approaching an exact conjunction with the Sun, Mercury on June 7 and Venus on June 8/9. The Earth is in direct alignment with these solar/planetary radiations. During the day absorb the energies of the Sun, while invoking the qualities of Venus and Mercury. This practice may be continued for as long as both are in a solar embrace, until June 26.
Look for Young Luna and the Twins Use the above Gemini image for orientation and any additional links found below. June 4, Wednesday, the youngest Moon lies at the foot of Castor. The star above the Moon at Castor's knee is Mebsuta. Sunset: 8:30pm, Moonset: 10:00pm June 5, Thursday, the Crescent Moon lies at the waist of Pollux, near the star Wasat, below Pollux and Castor. Sunset: 8:30pm, Moonset: 11:00pm Map June 6, Friday, slender Luna now lies above Pollux and Castor. Map Look above Luna to see Mars and further above to spot Regulus, Saturn and Leo the Lion. Map Sunset: 8:30pm, Moonset: 11:40pm As the young Moon transits the Gemini Twins ... Ponder Mercury, Gemini's exoteric ruler, whose emanations have the ability to link the personality to the soul, stimulate the powers of communication and interpretation and create Divine messengers. Reflect on Venus, Gemini's esoteric ruler, whose energies harmonize humanity with the gifts of understanding, wise love, unity, creativity and beauty. These qualities, when incorporated into the life give birth to the sons and daughters of God. Tune to the cooperative Gemini Twins. Though opposites, representing the form (Castor) and spirit (Pollux), they innately work together for the benefit of the whole. Emanations of cooperation, unity as well as a divine sense of the Whole are being focused through the constellation Gemini, and are potently impressing humanity during Gemini! [Return to Menu at top]

Reflections
~ Waxing Crescent Moon, Overcoming obstacles to the new incoming awareness begins with the waxing Crescent Moon. What was conceived at the New Moon: Struggles, Hope, Invocation, Evocation, is now in the process of waxing or gestating. Review above The growing Goodwill Moon is activating the line-up of Mars, Regulus and Saturn and all are within or just about to enter the Lion's den. Note: Mars officially enters the constellation Leo the Lion June 10. Leo the Lion, Regulus the Lawgiver and Saturn the Lord of Karma evoke the Law of the Soul within humanity. This trio prepares us to work together with the will and purpose of Deity. When Saturn resides in the Lion's den we face tests of leadership, honesty and integrity. These tests first began when Saturn entered the sign of Leo in mid-July 2005; they were pronounced when the planet, in the sign of Leo, also resided in the constellation of Leo mid-September 2006 through August 2007; and they continue as Saturn continues to transit the constellation. Saturn stays in a sign or a constellation for about 2 years. Signs & Constellations
Mars is now adding its energies to this already work in progress. What can we expect?
Though the struggles are difficult during this time of transition, humanity is moving in the direction of soul infusion. Hope is written in the heavens throughout this lunar cycle. Its heavenly alignments plus our invocation of their evolutionary qualities have the ability to focus us toward the beauty of the soul, which in turn evokes within us the service of the Heart.
The First Quarter Moon squares the Sun bringing up a tension, as it signals the balance between light and dark moving toward the light. Obstacles to the new incoming awareness show themselves now. Move toward the light. June 10, Tuesday, early in the day, the First Quarter Moon is exact at 8:04am PDT; 15:04 UT. Luna "wags Leo's tail" at this time, when she activates Denebola, the tail star of the Lion. (see map above) When stimulated, this star also known as the Changer, can pass swift judgment and bring about realignments. Be aware! This phase of the Moon and its position are bound to show us what is in the way of the Light and the Law of the Soul. Ideally obstacles to the incoming energies are overcome at this time. Soon after the Lion "wags its tail" Luna enters the constellation Virgo and her waxing Gibbous phase begins. The waxing Gibbous Moon is more than half lit, moving toward its full sunlit phase. Illumination and growth are offered by this lunar phase, only if the obstacles from the past are cleared away. This must happen, if the energy released with the coming Full Moon is to be utilized. June 10-12, Tuesday-Thursday, the evening's waxing Gibbous Moon transits the constellation Virgo the Virgin, our Heavenly Holy Grail. This transit culminates June 12 in a conjunction with Spica her stellar sacred womb.
The immortal essence of humanity is once again being stirred from its slumber by the Moon's journey through Virgo. A new balance of spirit and matter is being conceived within. Imagine the Light Grid around planet Earth glowing and growing forming a sacred chalice, ready to receive the emanations of the Goodwill Full Moon. [Return to Menu at top]

Reflections ~ Sagittarius, Scorpius, Antares June 16/17, Monday/Tuesday night, the nearly Full Moon activates the red heart star of Scorpius, Antares. The teapot-shaped asterism of the constellation Sagittarius follows. (see map/text above) Sagittarius sees the Vision and knows the Way to go. Scorpius influences a turning point in the life of humanity and in the life of the individual human being. It reorients the personality to the life of the Soul and later to initiation and sensitivity to the Divine Plan. Scorpius is the burning ground and is synonymous with transformation. Antares, associated with awesome power that can be hideous or sublime, wields the Fire of God and gets one's kundalini running! Note: The Moon occults (hides) Antares for observers in South America. IOTA
Reflections ~ Aldebaran / Antares Axis Each year the Goodwill lunar cycle activates the alignment that exists between Aldebaran, the star of illumination in the constellation Taurus, and Antares, the heart star of Scorpius. The New or young Moon lies near Aldebaran, while the Full or nearly Full Moon lies near Antares. Hmmm ... both stars are red in color. The Source of Life and Divine Will are associated with the color red.
It's time to re-evaluate and get rid of those antiquated governing systems and personal habits that no longer nourish the eternal spirit in all. June 17, Tuesday evening, the almost Full Moon has moved eastward and can be seen above the stinger of Scorpius. The Scorpion’s “rebellious” Antares and stinger make sure our vision is current; they align us with the expansive, inclusive heart of our Milky Way Galaxy. We at SouledOut.org are participating in the World Invocation Day Vigil. Join us in a 15-minute prayer / meditation for a world culture of cooperation on both June 17 and June 18 from 9:00pm-9:15pm PDT; 16:00-16:15 UT. Begin and end by sounding The Great Invocation. Learn more about World Invocation Day.
The Goodwill Full Moon June 18, Wednesday, the Goodwill Full Moon is exact at 10:30am PDT; 17:30 UT. It invisibly lies below the horizon for observers in North America and Europe. The evening's Moon touches the teapot top of Sagittarius. (see map/text above) The Goodwill Festival Full Moon is significant in that it brings an abundant tide of love for humanity to use as goodwill in establishing rightful world conditions. This World Day of Invocation celebrates the collective aspiration of humanity to act in harmony with its highest spiritual goals. Any Full Moon experience can offer us greater illumination of our essential divinity. Issues worked on since the New Moon come to a climax. If the restrictions of the past have been released during the waxing Moon, then the Full Moon can bring fulfillment. If not, the Full Moon might bring serious mental conflicts, possibly affecting the physical body. Radiant
Life Global Meditation WAVE1 What was conceived at the New Moon: Struggles, Hope, Invocation, Evocation, (review above) now comes to fruition and is birthed into the full light of our conscious minds.
Reflections
~ Full Moon's Illumination The Full Moon during Gemini is illuminated by the Sun in the constellation of Gemini, the Twins. The Sun is in conjunction with Venus, which is in exact conjunction with the Gate of Man (Gate of Cancer). It is here (5º sidereal Gemini or 0º tropical Cancer) that the galactic equator crosses the ecliptic. Souls are said to enter into human incarnation through this gateway.
Gemini keeps the interplay of energies between dualities active and flowing so that eventually they reach synthesis and unity. Venus the esoteric ruler of Gemini brings about harmonious relationships within pairs of opposites and thus, is a focus of synthesis. Note: While the Sun and Venus are within a 3º conjunction of the Gate of Man, the exact Full Moon and transformative Pluto are within a 3º conjunction of the Gate of God (Gate of Capricorn). At this gate, 5º sidereal Sagittarius or 0º tropical Capricorn, the galactic equator once again crosses the ecliptic. Here it is said that Souls leave the form and enter the spiritual kingdom. (The Earth opposite the Sun on the zodiacal wheel is also positioned at the Gate of God.) This Full Moon illumination gives us hope for unifying the personality and spirit. It is evoking an alignment between the human and spiritual kingdoms, between the solar system and the Milky Way Galaxy.
Full
Moon's Position The exact Full Moon is in conjunction with the Heart of the Galaxy and Pluto. Compare the Moons position in the map above to the position of the galactic center found in this map. Note: The Moon is in exact conjunction with Pluto June 18 at 2:37pm PDT; 21:37 UT. Reflections ~ Galactic Heart Special blessings pour out of the Galactic Heart for the Earth during this time. Because our solar system rotates around the Galactic Center, the GC can be thought of as the Sun of our solar system. Note: At a distance of 26,000 light-years from the Galactic Center, the Solar System completes a Galactic orbit in about 226 million years. These energies draw us toward our spiritual source, stimulating the Principle of Goodwill and humanitys aspiration toward God. These energies support our greater wellbeing and evolutionary fulfillment. They offer us the opportunity to transcend our little selves and manifest our divinity in our everyday world. The Festival of Goodwill and the Galactic Heart
Reflections ~ Retrograde Pluto at the Galactic Heart Pluto is the agent of death, the death of liberation and resurrection. The message of retrograde Pluto (4/2/08 9/7/08) is "Prepare yourself to be remade to your depths." Martin Bulgerin Note: Telescopic Pluto is at its closest 2008 approach to Earth as it reaches opposition June 20. Therefore, its potent energies are even stronger during this Festival time and the planet is streaming its energies toward us from sunset to sunrise. Transformation Pluto's forward and retrograde motion has kept it in a lengthy conjunction with the galactic heart (within 3º) since the 2005 winter solstice. At this time the Sun and Pluto were in close proximity to the galactic center, and a new 7 year cycle for Lightworkers on Earth began with the inauguration of the New Group of World Servers Festival Week. (This 7 year cycle ends with the 2012 winter solstice, the year the Mayan Calendar ends.)
Galactic
Center Ephemeris With Pluto transiting the galactic center, since the 2005 winter solstice it's interesting to note the following astronomical events: January 19, 2006 the New Horizons spacecraft began its journey to Pluto. When it arrives in 2015, humanity will have its first look at this distant body on the edge of our solar system. June 8, 2008 Milestone ... New Horizons moves beyond Saturn's orbit. August 24, 2006 the International Astronomical Union changed the status of Pluto from a planet to a dwarf planet and presented the new solar system view with 8 planets and 3 dwarf planets. June 3, 2008 the structure of the Milky Way Galaxy is updated. Current findings show two major arms and two minor arms, not 4 major arms. In addition the stars and material of our galaxy, rather than neatly circling the galactic center as previous maps assumed, they are surprisingly tracing an elliptical orbit. A 180-foot poster, the largest picture of the Milky Way is also unveiled! Tour the Poster June 11, 2008 the International Astronomical Union has decided on the term plutoid as a name for dwarf planets like Pluto. Press Release In 2006 and 2007 Pluto and the near full Goodwill Moon were in close conjunction with the heart of our galaxy. Now in 2008, Pluto and the exact Goodwill Festival Full Moon share a conjunction with the galactic heart.
In Summary As we again celebrate the spirit of humanity, dedicate ourselves to right human relations and align with the Will of God, our energies are being expanded to include all of humanity, and also the solar system, the galaxy and the spiritual kingdom! The Goodwill Festival of Unification, the Gemini Twins, Venus and the Sun at the Gate Man, Pluto and the Full Moon at the Gate of God, as well as at the Heart of our Galaxy and Shamballa are all evoking a new humanity. How will you consciously respond to these expansive energies? Will you resist, accept, resign yourself to or affirm and commit to the needed change and transformation?

The Moon anywhere in the vicinity of brilliant Jupiter is a delight!
June 19/20, Thursday/Friday night, the waning Gibbous Moon lies east of the handle of the teapot asterism of Sagittarius as it approaches brilliant Jupiter. Night owls can see the pair rise above the southeastern horizon around 10:00pm, and positioned in the south at 2:00am. Early Birds can see them in the west before sunrise.
June 20/21, Friday/Saturday night, Jupiter rises at 9:45pm followed by the Moon at 10:30pm. Night owls can see the heavenly pair due south at 3:00am and early birds in the west before sunrise. The Moon moves further from Jupiter as the night awakens to the dawn. The summer solstice occurs Friday, June 20, at 4:59pm PDT; 23:59 UT. This is the earliest solstice since 1896! Reflections
~ Waning Gibbous Moon, Ideally the waning Gibbous Moon is a time that readies us to manifest anew. It brings illumination to the influences of the entire lunar cycle. If not, dis-ease results. The celestial Archer has his eye on the inclusive Heart of our Galaxy and with the continued aid of Luna, Jupiter and Pluto is impressing humanity to aim for the illuminating vision that expands our hearts and minds, which includes the “Whole” Truth that unites us all. Sagittarius Keynote It is said that Jupiter transmits cosmic forces into our solar system. Bailey EXH pg. 155 This bridging of energies brings out the best in all, producing wisdom and the externalization of the Divine Plan in our solar system.
Pluto retrograde (4/2/08-9/7/08), in conjunction with the Galactic Heart, is also at its closest 2008 approach to Earth, reaching opposition June 20 at 1:00pm PDT; 20:00 UT. The potent influence and location of this telescopic "Dwarf" and Plutoid brings unrelenting transformation to humanity's most basic belief structures. Expect that which no longer serves the greater whole to fall away. Invoke guidance during these times of struggle, transition and rebirth. Expect that this guidance will evoke the needed changes within humanity. Be hopeful about this evolutionary process, after all, it is written in the heavens! Jupiter ~ Planetary Treat During Cancer Summer
Triangle
The Last Quarter Moon can bring a crisis in consciousness as the Moon squares the Sun. This cycle's experiences have culminated and one must now prepare for rebirth by initiating change. The Last Quarter Moon is exact June 26, Thursday, at 5:10am PDT; 12:10 UT. At this time the Moon lies in Pisces, the constellation of the World Savior. It transits the diagonal line-up of Diphda in Cetus the Whale or Sea Monster and Algenib in Pegasus the Winged Horse. Map Diphda represents the struggle of being in physical form and abuse of the body temple.
Algenib symbolizes the wing of the Flying Horse who has the innate capacity for spiritualization and for inverting evil into good.
When earthly challenges (Diphda) become heavenly opportunities for change (Algenib), struggles bring hope. Invoke the greatest good; allow inner divinity (the Savior) to evoke a rebirth.

3:00am and 4:00am
June 30-July 1, predawn Monday-Tuesday, the last vestiges of the Moon lie in the constellation Taurus the Bull, first near the Pleiades star cluster at the Bull's shoulder and next near the planet Mercury, with both the Moon and planet positioned on the Bull's horns. Mercury shining at magnitude 0.4 rivals Aldebaran, the Bull's eye, at magnitude 0.8. An unobstructed northeastern horizon and binoculars are helpful in spotting these celestial bodies. Though these are not the easiest of observations, they have the potential of bringing great satisfaction.
Reflections ~ Waning Crescent Moon The waning Crescent Moon phase brings enlightenment at a deep level, a time of conscious growth, clarification of values and the surrender to a new future. Rebirth can occur and playfulness can come forth. The Goodwill lunar cycle is ending where it began in the constellation Taurus the Bull, whose emanations bring us enlightenment, when earthly desires evolve into spiritual aspiration. The last vestiges of the Moon first align us with the Pleiades and universal mind, the Light of God. Next we are aligned with the northern horn's perseverance and breakthroughs and Mercury's ability to link the personality to the soul. For more information regarding this constellation, its stars and the placement of Mercury see the text under the first map found in this link: Fourth
of July ~ Holiday and Holy Day As the Goodwill Moon diminishes and moves toward the glowing embrace of our central luminary, know that along with our struggles comes the hope of breakthroughs and positive change.
