The New Moon is really a no Moon! This Moon is too close to the Sun to be seen. It is hidden from our view by the Sun's glowing light.

Note: For those living in San Francisco this New Moon takes place above the western horizon 4 hours before sunset. The Sun, New Moon and planets are located in the same constellations for other parts of the world; these constellations, in differing time zones, lie in a different location above or below the horizon.

Reflections ~ New Moon, Mercury,
Leo the Lion, Regulus, Venus, Saturn

With every New Moon our soul goes into meditation; a potential is enlivened and a seed of consciousness is formed deep within. Take some time to create a sacred space. A new cycle is beginning.

The New Moon and Sun lie below the stars marking the very front of Leo the Lion, the Lion’s head.

This transition area in the ecliptic, in the last few degrees of sidereal Cancer, at the head of the Lion, is where we find those willing to break from the conforming beliefs of the masses and seek to break new ground--the explorers … Nick Fiorenza

Mercury positioned in this same area of the sky emphasizes trail blazing. Its emanations create Divine messengers by illuminating the higher mind and linking the soul and personality.

The time is ripe for visionaries, explorers, adventurers and Divine messengers, to bring about a long awaited change in our world, one that can take humanity where it has not gone before, one that can bring forth the Age of Aquarius.

Note: Leo is opposite Aquarius in the zodiacal wheel and readies one for its service.

Leo the Lion’s highest expression is the fully integrated personality who stands out from the "herd" and is ignited by the fire of Divine Will. The Light of Leo is the Light of the Soul. Its illumination prepares one for participation in the New Group of World Servers.

Regulus, the heart star of Leo, focuses and regulates the energies of Sirius our spiritual Sun toward Earth. The emanations of Regulus in alignment with a higher spiritual Law can stimulate a response in humanity that expresses the Christ consciousness. Review Sirian Initiation.

Note: Regulus lies almost exactly upon the ecliptic, therefore, once a year around Aug 22-23, during Earth's orbit around the Sun, the Sun occults Regulus, channeling the Sirian forces, unimpeded throughout our solar system.

The continuing dance and pairing of Venus and Saturn in the constellation Leo potently activate Regulus. Together, Venus the Goddess of Love and Saturn the Gatekeeper bring a sobering, evolutionary quality of love to humanity. It’s as if they are assisting Regulus and Sirius in anchoring the Christ consciousness on Earth.

2007 Venus-Saturn-Leo Conjunctions ~ Pacific Time
July 1 - Eye of Leo the Lion
August 13 - Heart of Leo the Lion
October 13 - Belly of Leo the Lion

During its close orbital approach to Earth, Venus retrograde (7/27-9/7) aligns with the Sun and increases its influence. Venus reaches inferior conjunction August 17. The retrograde motion of this planet gives us the opportunity to mature and purify the heart.

The New Moon, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Regulus and Leo the Lion are establishing a strong Sirian conduit for the emergence of a divine new world.

… let us speak first of the powerful transformative "fires" of the month of August. For, as the sun transits through the "royal" house of the Lion, or Leo, the Cosmic fire pours through the Lion’s Gate in order to transform and transmute as the Earth moves to a higher level of Spiritual Evolution. This year, 2007, is a time of great transformative power. The Beings of Light who watch over your evolution on Earth have released the full power of the Cosmic Fire to you in order to activate the "Infinity Codes" that you carry within your cells and within your DNA. These codes are the Light Sequences that activate the blueprint for Physical Health, Perfection and Longevity, and a new relationship with the transformative process that you call "death". From: August 2007: Crossing the Threshold … Activating the Infinity Codes Archangel Michael through Celia Fenn

Waxing Crescent Moon Arouses the Virgin

Humanity’s Immortal Essence Awakens
A Celestial Elixir is Brewing!
Wednesday-Saturday, August 15-18 – 9:00pm

Blue dots represent the telescopic planets—Pluto, Neptune and Uranus. Dated spheres represent the waxing Moon. The golden swatch of color at the bottom of the image represents the southern sweep of the Milky Way. The Summer Triangle is positioned near the center of the star chart. Note: The evening ecliptic lies low in the south.

Look Up! Can you see the Milky Way?

The Milky Way sweeps from Scorpius in the south to Cassiopeia in the north. The Summer Triangle lies overhead in the center of its star-filled sweep. A dark sky away from the city is needed to view the Milky Way.

The mysterious band in the heavens, which we call the Milky Way, is closely connected with cosmic prana, or that cosmic vitality or nourishment which vitalizes the solar etheric system. Alice Bailey TCF p. 99 / Online Book

Check Out Scorpius!

Look for this cosmic scorpion, a sprawling "j" shaped constellation, in the southwest at sunset. Antares is the red heart star of Scorpius. Can you find the Scorpion's missing claws (now the constellation Libra) and its two stinger stars sometimes called cat's eyes? Use binoculars to see M6 and M7 above the stinger. Track Bunny's Footprints in Scorpius throughout the year! Can you now name the two stars that the Scorpion, Kitty and Bunny have in common?

Reflections ~ Waxing Crescent Moon, Virgo the Virgin

As the Moon grows in the light provided by our Sun,
we too grow in the light of our Soul.

Overcoming obstacles to the new incoming awareness begins with the waxing Crescent Moon. What was conceived at the New Moon, Divine Emergence, review above, is now in the process of waxing or gestating.

August 15-18, Thursday-Saturday, the waxing Crescent Moon arouses Virgo the Virgin from her head to her toes. This in turn awakens the immortal essence within humanity. The emanations from Virgo’s heavenly Holy Grail nurture and shield the hidden divinity of each one of us until the gestation period is complete and spiritual birth can occur.

Spica symbolizing the sacred womb of Virgo the Virgin, accepts and nourishes the seed of Arcturus, representing the herder of the Divine Will, emanating from the 7 rishis of the Big Dipper in the Great Bear constellation, Ursa Major.

A Celestial Elixir is Brewing!

The Virgin's lunar arousal and humanity's awakening to immortality is occurring in the midst of a grander celestial elixir.

August 15 ~ Venus, Galactic Center, Pluto

… on the 15th of August, Venus in Leo at 26 degrees will align with Galactic Center at 26 degrees of Sagittarius, and Pluto on the Galactic Center. In this fiery and transformative connection, Venus will relay these New Earth energies back to the Great Central Sun at the Galactic Center, so that this Choice and Acceptance of the Infinity Codes and Physical Transformation for Humanity on Earth will be registered in the Great Akasha or DNA record bank held in the Great Central Sun by the Keepers of the Galactic Light Codes. At that point, dearest ones, your transformations will be registered and Humanity will make the Great Shift forward. It will be inevitable, and nothing will be able to stop or hinder this process as the Earth transitions into the Dimensions of Light, and the New Earth will become manifest rapidly as you move towards 2012. From: August 2007: Crossing the Threshold … Activating the Infinity Codes Archangel Michael through Celia Fenn

Note: Mercury reaches superior conjunction August 15 at 1:00pm PDT; 20:00 UT

New Cycles ~ Venus-Earth / Saturn-Orcus

August 17 Venus reaches inferior conjunction at 9:00pm PDT; 04:00 UT 8/18 and begins switching to the eastern horizon. Our "evening star" becomes our "morning star" and begins a new cycle just a couple of days before Saturn begins a 32-year cycle with the asteroid Orcus, discovered 2/19/04. Both cycles support and influence our New Moon theme: Divine Emergence.

On Aug 18, 2007, the very significant 584-day Earth-Venus Synodic cycle starts … when from Earth's view, retrograde Venus conjoins the Sun. This is when Earth and Venus are seen to line up from the Sun's view … [Venus at inferior conjunction] on the cusp of sidereal Capricorn/Aquarius conjoining Sadr, the Heart of the Cygnus.

The Earth-Venus synodic cycle (Aug 18, 2007) starts just slightly before the Saturn-Orcus 32-year synodic cycle (Aug 20, 2007). … On one hand, we have a new cycle directly related to the heart (thymus, immune system), living from the heart, art, rapture and beauty in life (in the context of the new Venus theme set by Sadr of Cygnus); while on the other hand, we have the Saturn-Orcus theme … one that is working at a very deep subconscious and foundational level of our souls regarding our responsibility to break new trail and to live from the individual truths of our souls--oaths taken, perhaps long ago. Nick Fiorenza … Saturn-Orcus / Venus-Earth Cycles

Venus-Earth Cycle ~ Capricorn/Aquarius Cusp,
Delphinus and Serendipity

As mentioned in the quote above the new Venus-Earth cycle lines up on the cusp of Capricorn/Aquarius.

North of the Capricorn-Aquarius overlap lies Delphinus, the Dolphin star system. Delphinus offers guidance for those willing to trust in greater forces than their personal efforts generate alone. The Dolphins … reveal the way to make safe passage to our destination provided we listen to and follow the serendipity of life.

To trust in the serendipity of life is merely to surrender our personal righteous reasoning mind that needs to define and control and to allow our selves to move with the Divine Intelligence that permeates and fluidly guides our lives. Here is the art of getting out of our own way to allow a creative solution that leads us from the conforming bounds of limited mind.

The oracular angelic guides of Delphi merge and meander with the future-oriented visionary Aquarian influence through the rock-hard stoic past of Capricorn and spring from the ground as prophetic life carrying waters--a flow of guiding wisdom not otherwise available by mortal efforts alone, a flow that leads us from the crystallized past into the unbounded future to become. Nick Fiorenza

August 18, Saturday, the Moon lies at the legs of the Virgin just west of the missing claws of Scorpius. Star Chart One can imagine Virgo giving birth into these awaiting claws, Zubenelgenubi, the southern karmic claw and Zubeneshamali the northern dharmic claw. This spiritual birthing process is the path of the soul. It is the way the soul of humanity grows. These two claws now represent Libra the razor edged path! Watch your balance during this time of divine emergence.

BTW: Look Up! Jupiter is the beacon of light to the east of Virgo the Virgin; below Jupiter lies Antares, the red heart star of the cosmic Scorpion. This promises to be a visual treat. Clear skies!

Note: Look east from 1:00am-sunrise. Morning Mars is near Aldebaran. Mars forms the temporary second eye of Taurus the Bull August 19-24. Aldebaran is the permanent "Bull's Eye," a star of illuminating vision. Fight the good fight of the soul. Star Map

Look Up!

The Moon anywhere in the vicinity of brilliant Jupiter and twinkling Antares is a dazzling delight. Look southwest from sunset-11:30pm to see giant Jupiter above Antares, the red heart star of the cosmic Scorpion. Find the stinger of Scorpius and above it lies the telescopic dwarf planet, Pluto. Keep reading to find out how the Giant and Dwarf stoke the fires of the Scorpion’s burning ground.

Reflections ~ The Waxing Moon, Scorpius

Scorpio is the great constellation, which influences the turning point in the life of humanity and in the life of the individual human being. It reorients the personality to the life of the Soul and later to initiation and sensitivity to the Divine Plan. As the waxing Moon transits the burning ground of Scorpius, it is bound to bring up obstacles, as well as activate the transformative power within us.

Reflections ~ First Quarter Moon

The First Quarter Moon, exact August 20 at 4:54pm PDT; 23:54 UT, squares the Sun at a 90-degree angle and brings up a tension between desires and emotions, as we struggle for fulfillment. Ideally any obstacles impeding the awareness conceived at the New Moon are overcome at this time. What new life is emerging within? Initiate actions that help it grow.

August 20, Monday, the First Quarter Moon enters the constellation Scorpius. Release that which is in the way of the emerging light. Move toward the Light Divine.

Reflections ~ Waxing Gibbous Moon, Three Lunar Transits

The waxing Gibbous Moon is more than half lit and growing with light. Illumination, growth, vision and enthusiasm are offered during this lunar phase, only if the obstacles from the past are cleared away.

Underscoring humanity’s transformation in the burning ground are the lunar transits of Antares, Jupiter and telescopic Pluto, which is presently in conjunction with the Heart of our Milky Way Galaxy, the Galactic Center, above the stinger of the Scorpion.

Aug. 21 The Moon conjoins Antares 6:00pm PDT; 01::00 UT 8/22
The Moon conjoins Jupiter 6:07pm PDT; 01:07 UT 8/22.
Aug. 23 The Moon conjoins Pluto 1:23am PDT; 08:23 UT.

August 21, Tuesday, try spotting Jupiter in the day sky very near the Moon. Look east after 4:30pm for the First Quarter Moon, use binoculars to search for Jupiter above the Moon. Note: Saturn conjoins the Sun 4:30pm PDT; 23:30 UT.

The evening Moon transits Antares, East Coasters can see the conjunction at 9:00pm EDT. Keep reading to learn the significance of these lunar transits.

Reflections ~ Serpent Fire ~ Antares / Aldebaran Axis

Scorpius is like the seat of the coiled Kundalini Fire and Antares the kundalini itself, the serpent power ready to be enlivened. Opposite Antares in the zodiacal wheel lies Aldebaran, the illuminating eye of Taurus the Bull, the star of enlightenment. It's as if Antares wields the Fire of God by its connection to Aldebaran. This connection can be experienced as hideous and monstrous or majestic and of infinite splendor, just like the quality of the rising kundalini is dependent upon the alignment of the personality and the Soul.

Aldebaran emanates a governing vision for humanity, while Antares keeps the enlightened vision of the people current, ensuring growth, evolution and change. The Aldebaran / Antares axis is a political balancing act that keeps expanding our mortal limits, often through conflict that ultimately brings harmony. Keeping compassion and cooperation alive in all facets of life fosters humanity’s emerging divinity.

Reflections ~ Jupiter, Ophiuchus

It is said that Jupiter transmits cosmic forces into our solar system. Bailey EXH pg. 155 Hence, the emanations of Jupiter expand our consciousness with that of the cosmos. This produces knowledge, which leads to wisdom and the externalization of the Divine Plan in our world.

The Planet Jupiter ~ Secret Doctrine References

For most of 2007 Jupiter enlivens Antares and Pluto as it journeys back and forth through the constellation Ophiuchus the Serpent Bearer, the first doctor of medicine. Ophiuchus is the master of the initiatory forces governing life and death and can guide their interplay toward greater spiritual fulfillment. The combined emanations of Jupiter and Ophiuchus make it possible for humanity to rise like a phoenix from the burning ground.

Invoke the qualities of the phoenix; hold strong the vision of humanity rising out of antiquated governing systems and personal habits that no longer nourish the spirit.

Reflections ~ Pluto

Pluto the agent of death is positioned at the Heart of our Milky Way Galaxy, above the stinger of the cosmic Scorpion, Scorpius.

Pluto is in Sagittarius and this conjunction with the galactic centre provides the possibility for a clearing away of obstacles to the synthesis of human thought as represented in global ideologies, religions and philosophical traditions. We know that catharsis and war are one way that Pluto can work in order to purify the field and clear obstacles however in the life of the disciple Pluto's arrow can be used for upliftment and healing. Bruce Lyon ... 2006-2007: The Activation of the Energy of Planetary Will

Pluto retrograde (3/31-9/6) ... "This emphasizes that we must face and release the past in order to move forward. There is a potential for breakdown, overhaul, repair and healing." Jacqueline Lasahn AstroFlash 3/16/07

Pluto is named for the Greek god of wealth. When Pluto and the galactic center are in conjunction, wealth is symbolically joining the heart of our galaxy. The recent budding of abundance consciousness relates to Pluto’s galactic center alignment. Potential effects of this Pluto transit may bring proper sharing of the world’s resources and the liberation of money for visionary services on Earth.

In Summary

Our powers of transformation are being stimulated to the extreme and the energy grid of planet Earth is being fired up! Initiation, death and rebirth are being required of humanity. The waxing Moon moving through the Scorpion’s burning ground is bound to bring up that which is hidden, taboo and disturbing to our peace. This message regarding the cosmic Scorpion is very timely …

… The urge to purge yanks on the chains of selfish stagnation and unhealthy habits. … The baggage that weighs us down, that drains us is more obvious. Old structures are tested, again. It's time to clean house. Take responsibility for establishing what will endure for the years ahead. Difficult choices. Persistence. We must make concrete changes in the midst of complexities. Jacqueline Lasahn AstroFlash 3/16/07

Full Moon ~ Total Lunar Eclipse
Tuesday, August 28, 2007
Totality Begins - 2:52am PDT; 9:52 UT
Exact Full Moon Occurs - 3:35am PDT; 10:35 UT

Image: Distant Suns / Adobe Photoshop

Note: For those living in San Francisco this colorful Full Moon takes place above the western horizon 3 hours before sunrise. The Full Moon and planets are located in the same constellations for other parts of the world; these constellations, in differing time zones, lie in a different location above or below the horizon.

BTW: Here's another August 28 Eclipse Star Map.

Reflections ~ The Full Moon

Any Full Moon experience can offer us greater illumination of our essential divinity. Issues worked on since the New Moon come to a climax. If the restrictions of the past have been released during the waxing Moon, then the Full Moon can bring fulfillment. If not, the Full Moon might bring serious mental conflicts, possibly affecting the physical body.

The Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse is exact 3:35am PDT; 10:35 UT.

Full Moon Global Meditation
SouledOut.org invites you to participate
in the Virgo Radiant Life Meditation

What was conceived at the New Moon, Divine Emergence, review above now comes to fruition and is birthed into the full light of our conscious minds.

Reflections ~ Full Moon's Illumination

The colorful eclipsed, supercharged Full Moon during Virgo is illuminated by the Sun positioned in Leo the Lion, between Mercury to the east and the Lion’s heart star, Regulus, paired with the planet Saturn to the west. Virgo offers the opportunity to attune to and align with the blended dual light of body and soul. Leo the Lion provides an opportunity to align with the light of the soul. Saturn, Regulus and Mercury affirm this is the time for leadership, integrity, honesty and making contact with the evolutionary forces of Sirius … a time for a Divine Emergence.

A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon is full; it is a time of endings, culmination points and major changes. Expect to feel the strong effects of an eclipse two days before and three days after it occurs.

A lunar eclipse is a supercharged Full Moon. The blocking of the Moon's reflection of the Sun's light by the Earth suggests that our material viewpoint stands in the way of our "seeing the light". It serves as a reminder that we need to realize how we are held in the dark by virtue of our perspective. Zodiac Arts 8/28/07

How To Deal With Eclipses: 9 Points
During an eclipse period, you may feel like you are
walking across a bridge to a brand new place,
with no turning back from where you started.

Reflections ~ Full Moon's Position

The Full Moon is positioned between Uranus and Neptune and Fomalhaut and Enif.

Uranus and Neptune

Both Uranus and Neptune are near opposition and hence a close approach to Earth and shining down upon us all night. Telescopic Neptune reaches opposition just before the Full Moon August 13 and Uranus just after September 9. The close approach of Uranus now renders the usually telescopic planet visible to the unaided eye in a dark clear sky.

The close presence of these two planets to the eclipsed Full Moon and the Earth creates a significant influence during this Full Moon cycle.

If Uranus means renewal and Neptune means the spiritual impulse, it is logical to conclude that a new spiritual impulse is born each time these two planets conjoin. History proves this to be correct. The cycle of Uranus and Neptune lasts for about 172 years. ... in 1993, we had such an impulse at work in the world, because it was then that Uranus and Neptune were conjunct again. It was and is the main energy behind all the new spiritual impulses of this day and age, the 'new age,' or the 'Aquarian Age' energies of today. In Light of the Uranus / Neptune Cycle

The Full Moon is moving eastward toward Uranus the agent of awakening, who stimulates the urge to change the established order.

Aug. 27 Monday, the almost Full Moon conjoins Neptune 3:01am PDT; 10:01 UT.
Aug. 28 Tuesday, the Full Moon is exact 3:35am PDT; 10:35 UT.
Aug. 28 Wednesday, the just Full Moon conjoins Uranus 0:15am PDT; 07:15 UT.

Fomalhaut and Enif

Fomalhaut and its constellation, Pisces Austrinus, found below the Full Moon (see above map),  are associated with the shift of the ages from Pisces to Aquarius. Fomalhaut, at the mouth of this great Southern Fish drinks from the jug of Aquarius. In the Constellation Cards this great Fish is noted as the parent (single) of the zodiacal fish Pisces (World Savior).

Eric Morse in The Living Stars links Fomalhaut to the Archangel Gabriel whose trumpet sounded to announce the birth of Jesus. Hmmm ... Gabriel's trumpet also announces the judgment day, pointing out all that is not in alignment with the Christ consciousness. This royal star's relationship to Christ is expanded, when one considers that about 500 B.C. Fomalhaut was the object of sunrise worship in the temple of Demeter at Eleusis and associated with the Eleusinian Mysteries of death and rebirth, eternal life and the Spiritual Kingdom.

… Enif of Pegasus, the nose of the magical flying horse … brings intuitiveness and sensitivity to the humanitarian / Aquarian pursuit. Enif is characteristic of altruistic people, those with the intuitive awareness to recognize what is of essence, of value, and worthy of humanitarian support. It is of those who are capable of providing material and / or financial support and who have the sensitivity to do so. A fortuitous star, Enif asks us to follow our intuition to do what is truly supportive to our greater well being. Nick Fiorenza

In Summary

This supercharged Full Moon affirms and underscores the New Moon theme: Divine Emergence. As above so below, this is the time for humanity to align with the soul and shine its light. We are the Ones we’ve been waiting for.

As we strengthen the contact with the soul, our love enlightens the form aspect and our essential divinity manifests on Earth. We seek the greatest good for all. We cooperate with each other and fire the grid of great works. We enter the Age of Aquarius and pursue Humanity's Divine Destiny.

Sacred Hoop Dancers ~ Morning Mars and Agiing Luna

September 3-6, Monday-Thursday
Look East ~ 2:30am - Sunrise
Find the Shape Shifting Red Triad ~ Mars, Aldebaran, Betelgeuse
See Summer’s Kool Winter Hexagon and Winter Triangle

Image: Newark Museum / Adobe Photoshop

* Printable Image *

Too hot? View the kool winter stars before dawn late in the summer and early fall. They are called the winter stars because they best seen on winter evenings, when they lie overhead.

Note: Mars rises around midnight, Betelgeuse around 1:45am, Sirius around 4:00am. The large dated spheres represent the waning Moon. Mars has two small dated spheres representing its position on those dates and its eastward movement, which shifts the shape of the red triad. The blue dot at the feet of Gemini near the 9/5 Moon represents the intersection of the ecliptic and the Milky Way. Keep reading!

Reflections ~ Winter Stars ~ Sacred Hoop

The Great Winter Hexagon and the heavenly equilateral Winter Triangle now appear in the morning sky 4:00am-sunrise. Some of the brightest stars in the heavens are located in this area of the sky. The Great Winter Hexagon is a heavenly geometry made up of stars that guide the way and expand the heart.

The Lakota Sioux and other Plains Indians called this region of the Winter Hexagon the Sacred Hoop. It was considered to be extremely auspicious, when the Moon and Planets moved through the Hoop. On September 5 the waning Crescent Moon lies near the intersection of the horizontal ecliptic and the vertical Milky Way, the center of the cross formed within the Sacred Hoop (blue dot). Numerous myths and oral histories from Native American to Egyptian to Northern-European to Babylonian have referred to this intersection of the Milky Way with the Zodiac as the place where souls enter into incarnation, a gateway between the immortal and mortal realms, the Gate of Man.

… an Alaskan shamanic tradition perceived the great equilateral triangle in the Hoop formed by Sirius, Procyon, and Betelgeuse, as a ‘heavens gate’, another version of an entry point or entrance into incarnation. See this article for THE SACRED HOOP.

Reflections ~ The Red Triad

Watch this triangle of potent red celestial bodies shape shift as the Red Planet moves eastward. View the Triad fully risen 1:45am-sunrise.

Mars the spiritual warrior is giving us plenty of opportunities to interact with opposing forces as its orbital motion brings it closer to Earth. Betelgeuse is stimulating the heart increasing compassion and cooperation. Aldebaran provides an enlightened vision for humanity and its governing systems. Energies of death, wise love and illumination circulate through and emanate from the Red Triad, which acts as a generator for the creation of new world. Look Up! Take part in the divine transition.

Mars ~ Virgo’s Planetary Treat!

Reflections ~ Waning Gibbous Moon, Pleiades

Ideally the waning Gibbous Moon brings illumination to the influences of the entire lunar cycle. If not, dis-ease results.

September 2/3, the night of Sunday/Monday, the Gibbous Moon rises around 10:45pm Sunday; it occults (hides) the Pleiades (M45) star cluster into the morning hours of Monday, for observers in North America. Use binoculars to check out this event. Perhaps you will see some of the sparkling 7 Sisters reappear from behind the Moon!

It is said that universal mind sweeps into manifestation in our solar system via the Pleiades. See Path to Sirius. Imagine the light of this illuminating Moon joining with the emanations of the Pleiades. See this combined light, stream forth into our minds, giving rise to Buddhi, the Universal Soul.

Reflections ~ Last Quarter Moon, Mars, Aldebaran

The Last Quarter Moon can bring a crisis in consciousness as the Moon squares the Sun. This cycle's experiences have culminated and one must now prepare for rebirth by initiating change. The Last Quarter Moon is exact September 3, Monday, at 7:32pm PDT; 02:32 UT 9/4.

September 3/4, the night of Monday/Tuesday, the just Quarter Moon rises around 11:45pm Monday. Mars and Aldebaran rise about 15 minutes later at midnight, 12:00am Tuesday. Review the reflections for the Red Triad.

While the Moon and Mars are enlivening Aldebaran in Taurus, Jupiter is firing up Antares in Scorpius. These two planets in opposing parts of the zodiacal wheel are vitalizing the Antares / Aldebaran Axis resulting in the awakening of humanity’s serpent fire!

This lunar phase brings with it the challenge of rebirth. Mars accentuates this challenge with its interaction of opposing forces and emanations of death. It’s time for the outdated ways to die and the enlightened visions of Aldebaran to be born, resulting in a new vitality and an emergence of the divine form. Make it so!

Note: The Moon conjoins Mars 9/4 at 6:06am PDT; 13:06 UT.

Reflections ~ Waning Crescent Moon, Gate of Man,
Betelgeuse, Pollux

The waning Crescent Moon phase brings enlightenment at a deep level, a time of conscious growth, clarification of values and the surrender to a new future. Rebirth can occur and playfulness can come forth.

September 5, Wednesday, the diminishing Moon rises at 12:45am and aligns with the Gate of Man, the portal between the immortal and mortal realms (see blue dot on above map). Imagine mortal beings awakening to their divine immortality.

September 6, Thursday, the waning Crescent Moon rises with red Betelgeuse around 1:30am. The Moon in the constellation of the Gemini Twins emphasizes the cooperation and synthesis of dualities. Betelgeuse stimulates humanity’s heart center and aids in the service of the spiritually attuned. What the soul is to the human, Betelgeuse is to our solar system. These aligned celestial bodies affirm that our present world of dualities and evolutionary struggles can offer opportunities of compassion and cooperation, which lead to heartfelt expansions of consciousness. Review the reflections for the Red Triad.

September 7, Friday, the thinning Moon rises around 2:40am. It passes Pollux to the east, and leaves the Sacred Hoop (not shown in above map).

The cosmic Twins though opposites, Castor representing the form and Pollux the spirit, innately cooperate for the benefit of the whole. Pollux the eternal twin is associated with the fulfillment of the soul's greater evolutionary purpose. Surrender to a greater guidance. Take a leap of faith. "Not my will, but thine be done." Celebrate your part in birthing the spiritual kingdom on Earth.

Reflections ~ Waning Crescent Moon, Venus, Sirius
Saturn, Regulus, Leo the Lion

September 9, Sunday, an extreme sliver of the almost last Moon of this cycle nestles between Venus and the pairing of Saturn and Regulus in Leo the Lion. Rebirth and the dawning of a new day fill the air!

Regulus the Lion-Hearted Lawgiver acts as a regulator for the evolutionary energies of Sirius and the Christ consciousness. Venus, Saturn, and Leo the Lion are requiring humanity to rise up with a wise love that sees beyond duality, a love that encompasses the whole and aligns with the Law of the Soul. This sobering love leads to synthesis. When mastered it can resolve conflicts, establish harmony and manifest great works on planet Earth.

The Moon conjoins Regulus 6:00pm PDT; 01:00 UT 9/9
The Moon conjoins Saturn at 7:58pm PDT; 02:58 UT 9/10. It occults (hides) the planet for observers in Perth, Australia.
