The Heavenly Holy Grail is associated with the constellation Virgo and each year during the sign of Aries, March 20-April 19, the Easter Full Moon travels through the heavens with Spica, the brightest star of Virgo the Virgin.

In 2008 the exact time of the Full Moon occurs Friday, March 21 at 11:40am PDT; 18:40 UT. The Full Moon lies west of Spica and moves toward this blue-white star as the day unfolds.

Note: The Moon lies closest to Spica the evening of March 22/23 and can be seen east of the blue-white star the night of March 23.

Virgo, the Virgin

Esoterically, the emanations of Virgo, the Virgin nurture and shield the hidden divinity of each one of us until the gestation period is complete and spiritual birth can occur. She is the celestial Chalice for the Divine Host.

In the Zodiac in the Temple of Denderah, in Egypt ... she [Virgo the Virgin] is likewise represented with a branch in her hand ... Bootes ~ Arcturus

The third constellation holding promise of the future is Bootes, "the one who is coming", the saviour in Pisces who frees humanity from subservience to the form. Bailey's Labours of Hercules

The brightest star in the constellation Bootes is a golden star located above (north of) Spica in the night sky. This luminary is Arcturus, the herder of the Divine Will emanating from the 7 stars of the Big Dipper in the constellation, Ursa Major. Arcturus is the bridge between these 7 stars and Virgo the Virgin. Arcturus, like an Avatar filled with Divine Will, stimulates great evolutionary changes to all in its path. Virgo in its path, (see image above) is the Holy Grail that receives the Will of God.

Note: In locating Arcturus and Spica, skywatchers know to arc from the handle of the Big dipper to golden Arcturus and then spike down to blue-white sparkling Spica in the south. Big Dipper Navigation

Spica representing the sacred womb of Virgo the Virgin, accepts and nourishes the seed of Arcturus, until the gestation period is complete and spiritual birth can occur within the human form.

It's as if Arcturus, symbolizing the soul, steps down and transmits the Will of God into the form (Virgo) and its individual personality. The personality becomes the receiver and container of this Divine Life. This eventually results in the birth of the Christ consciousness on Earth and the evolution of matter.

Ponder on this: Spica is flying away from us at a speed of 2,000 miles per hour, while Arcturus is racing toward us at the incredible speed of 12,000 miles per hour. Arcturus appears to move toward Virgo about one-half degree in 900 years. Image

The Springtime Big Dipper ~ The 7 Rishis

The seven stars of the Big Dipper are esoterically known as the Seven Rishis and correspond to the head centers in the body of a Great Being. Each of these stars transmits a ray of energy into our solar system. These seven rays are the givers of life to all on this earth. In the springtime during the three major planetary festivals, the Big Dipper can be seen overhead in the early evening pouring out its heavenly contents upon an awakening earth.

Note: Alcor, a small star in the bend of the Dipper's handle, difficult to see by many with the unaided eye, is not considered a Rishi.

 

The Holy Grail ~ The World Savior

Each year in the sign of Aries, opposite the Easter Full Moon in the Holy Grail, we find the Sun in the constellation Pisces, a constellation that is associated with the World Savior. The star map below reveals this view "beyond the veil of daylight" at the exact time of the Full Moon.

It is interesting to note that the constellation of the World Savior,  Pisces, lies beneath the Square of Pegasus. The ancient Babylonians called this square "The Doorway to Paradise." Today astronomers travel through this doorway or "window" to the edge of our Milky Way Galaxy and go beyond to other galaxies! As the Light of the World, the World Savior in Pisces, frees humanity from subservience to the form, the darkness of matter ends forever; the Doorway to Paradise opens and new dimensions of reality are experienced.

It Is Written in the Heavens!

Virgo the Virgin's Holy Grail and Easter's Full Moon nourish the Divine consciousness in form. Pisces the World Savior and Easter's Sun free the Spirit from the limitations of form. This dual relationship is an illustration that the path leading to light is trodden through the blending of the pairs of opposites.

Each year the Holy Grail, with the Full Moon’s close proximity to Spica, has the potential to stimulate and consecrate the seed of divinity within each and every one of us. In 2008 the Easter Festival gives another opportunity for divine awakening.

Each year the message of the World Savior is emphasized, enlivened and carried throughout the solar system by the rays and power of the Sun. In 2008, (see above map) the emanations of the constellation Aquarius are also pronounced at the time of the Full Moon by the three planets residing within it. It's as if the heavens must impress the fact that we are in the transition of the ages, from Pisces to Aquarius.

The freedom urge of telescopic Uranus shakes us loose from old constricting forms and moves us toward the inclusive qualities of Aquarius, group consciousness, selfless service and self-sacrifice. Together Mercury and Venus unify the lower and higher mind for the Aquarian expression within substance. Venus helps one begin to understand the causes and conditions of harmony and conflict, thereby lovingly and wisely linking the lower mind to the higher mind. Mercury illumines the higher mind awakening intuition and creating divine messengers.

Two more planets in the solar line-up during Easter's Full Moon affirm humanity's progress toward the Risen ONE. Telescopic Neptune in the constellation Capricornus strengthens humanity's spiritual hook-up and aids the resurrection into new Life. Jupiter in the constellation Sagittarius expands our heart and mind with spiritual vision and purpose. This truly is a time of rising.
