Sagittarius
Radiant Life Meditation

We see the goal, we reach that goal and then we see another. (1)

SouledOut.org's Radiant Life Meditation theme for 2007 crescendoes as we embody our awareness of the zodiacal energies of the Lighted Way to "Live the Radiant Life." This draws upon the meditation practice we have come to recognize as our biggest, most potent tool in working together to usher in the Age of Aquarius, and so as a group to co-create Heaven on Earth.

Beginning after the new moon on Friday, November 9, we invite you to join us by aligning with the daily focus offered here:

Living The Radiant Life
Reveals Divine Direction

We suggest beginning each Calendar day using this focus, as all align with the theme for the day. Throughout the Sagittarius cycle, each day's seed thought is conveyed in the graphic representation and associated links on that day's page.

You are encouraged to continue with this meditation focus during the moon cycle surrounding the November 24 Sagittarius~Gemini full moon. You may want to bookmark the Calendar, or consider making it the startup page in your browser for the entire month, in order to participate on a daily basis. Another suggestion, since it is updated daily, is to set your Browser Cache to "Compare each time the page is viewed."

This lunar cycle...

The Light of Sagittarius comes into our collective consciousness with this November 9 new moon, as during this cycle the Sun will be moving through the burning ground of Scorpio, activating transformation. The 12-month journey of Jupiter (ruling planet of Sagittarius) through this area of the heavenly sky concludes at the end of Sagittarius, on December 18.

Jupiter itself spends November among the background stars of Ophiuchus, the Serpent-bearer. The planet moves slowly eastward throughout the month, at November's end it reaches the eastern border of Ophiuchus just as the Sun enters the constellation from the west. The Sun will remain in Ophiuchus for the first half of December, while Jupiter then crosses out, into Sagittarius. (2)

Indeed, the Heavens are stimulating and emphasizing in humanity the transformation toward right relationship and the all-inclusive, wise heart.

2007 Sagittarius Meditation

The Sagittarius Full Moon ~
Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 6:30 am PST (14:30 UT)

The Light of Sagittarius: A beam of directed, focused Light

In this the point of light becomes the beam,
revealing a greater light ahead and
illumining the way to the centre of the light. (3)

Guidance in preparing for this meditation

We mentally link up with people of goodwill everywhere, as part of the united group channel through which the spiritual forces can become available. Affirming this channel, "We stand poised united as One Soul with our Spiritual Hierarchy." We hold the focus.

We now visualize and become the Chalice we have together created, as a grid of light all over the earth connecting the light of every lightworker and each sacred energy vortex. This network serves as a conduit through which the heavenly blessings may flow through every one of us and to the planet Earth.

When we have achieved this ...

We, as one, welcome the Light of Sagittarius, and the energies it brings to us and to all the Kingdoms on planet Earth.

As our collective mind's eye adjusts to its brilliance we see, beyond the light of Sagittarius, a beam of light. In our clarity, we know that in this space and place we have long sought guidance. Having not seen the beam of light, but just the brilliance of the light, in those moments we have asked for direction.

A new awareness is born from our present clarity. We are now asked to become the directors, not just the directed, to know and show the way for all of Humanity.

This new awareness brings a vision. In this moment, we sense the energy of the star Betelgeuse, as it pours through the sign of Sagittarius.

We see now before us a great cross. Its arms radiate color. At its center, where the arms meet, is a five-pointed star of deep, deep, dark indigo. Behind it is a blazing sun of warm, dark blue.

In the colors of the cross and star, we see a new and greater spiritual vision. There is a new clarity, we see further into the heart of Divinity, and glimpse more of our Divine Destiny.

In this moment, we are aware of sound as well as color. Our senses, spiritual vision as well as spiritual hearing, are heightened. The stars sing together and combine with the Chant of the Gods to illumine all that is in a great symphony of sound and color. The key to understanding the truth of the Song of Life may be found here.

As selfless, consecrated, creative beings of sound and light, we will carry this spiritual inspiration into every corner of our life. We will seek and find relationships of purpose ~ and in this touch hundreds, who will in turn touch thousands, who will touch millions ~ revealing we are all One!

We are joined in this stream by lightworkers from on high to intone The Great Invocation, and together we say ...

The Great Invocation

From the point of light within the Mind of God
Let Light stream forth into our minds
Let LIGHT descend on Earth.

From the point of love within the Heart of God
Let Love stream forth into our hearts
May LOVE increase on Earth.

From the center where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide our wills
The PURPOSE which the masters know and serve.

From the center which we call Humanity
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door
where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.
Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.
Let LIGHT and LOVE and POWER
restore the Planet Earth!

- adapted version (4)

We now continue to hold the high space throughout this most auspicious phase of the full moon, an important time to still the mind and maintain inner peace, always a time of spiritual retreat and contact.

Readings

We offer these related materials for your Sagittarius meditation focus ...

The Lighted Way The entire zodiac can be approached and understood from the angle of light ~ the inner light, soul light ~ and its unfolding, increasing radiance is the manifestation of our divine nature. (5) Study of the 12 different lights for each of the constellations of the zodiac reveals the symbolic story of the growth of the light body within the Soul of Humanity (the Macrocosm) and within each of us (the Microcosm), and will finally make clear the very purpose of God.

The Seven Cosmic Paths "This subject is considered ... to be devoid of form and therefore incognisable to the lower concrete mind." (5) Hence it is through the practice of Living the Radiant Life that we may begin to understand the nature of Spirit, for to bring Spirit fully into our daily lives is service to the One.

The Path of Training for Planetary Logoi This Third Cosmic Path is the one that keeps a person linked to the spiritual Hierarchy, which is pledged to the service of our planet. (7)

Sagittarius Zodiacal Deity "Sagittarius, we are told, is the spirit of truth; it is the sum of all Truth growing out of individual revelation." (8) In Sagittarius, Soul consciousness in its early stages unfolds through the use of intuition and aspiration. Keynote: I vision. (9)

Betelgeuse The sun Betelgeuse is a source of cosmic energy streaming towards our system. This influence reaches our system by way of the sign Sagittarius. (10)

Night Sky ~ Moon Dances During each lunar cycle the Moon, waxing and waning, journeys through the zodiac. It partners with and enlivens the sparkling stars and glowing planets along the way. As the Moon grows in the light provided by our Sun, we too grow in the light of our Soul.

A new lunar cycle begins Novemer 9 with the Sun and Moon enlivening the Zuben stars of the constellation Libra. Karmic wounded relationships are bound to show themselves during this lunar cycle and dharmic responsibility is destined to tap us on the shoulder for a reconciliation of them. It’s curious to note that the day of the New Moon is Global Grace Day. Lunar theme: Poised Balance ~ Humanity’s Cutting Edge Path

The waxing Crescent Moon transits the evolutionary line-up of Antares, Jupiter and Pluto positioned at the Heart of our Galaxy November 11-12. For almost one year these celestial bodies have been impressing a transformation of humanity's personal and cultural values on the broadest possible scale. November 13-14 the growing Moon transits the celestial Centaur, who leads humanity beyond its mortal limits, on a cutting edge path.

Have a "Thanks Giving" time with three seasons of savory stars and a fattening Moon. Early November 17, World Peace Day, the Quarter Moon brings up a tension between the light and dark along with a new spiritual impulse from Neptune. The evening's waxing Gibbous Moon, November 17-18, transits an "invisible" and potent trio of celestial bodies, which continues to generate an awakening within humanity. Two Full Moon nights, November 23-24, shine a guiding light upon all politcal systems; reconciling the past is a necessary practice to move into the divine future. A comet bodes humanity to claim the gifts gained by initiatory fires and emerge triumphant.

The night of November 26/27 Mars has a close encounter with the waning Gibbous Moon and opposing forces are highly stimulated. Betelgeuse comes to the rescue. November 30-December 2 Luna, Leo and Saturn demand changes that alighn with the Law of the Soul. November 30-December 17 Sol makes his annual visit to the Medicine Man.December 4-5 a predawn trio opens our heart, as Hanukkah begins. December 6-8 a lunar cycle ends as it began; in addition, shooting stars become active; a evening Giant looms over the eastern horizon and a 30-Hour Global Peace Concert is launched. Celebrate rebirth!

Preparation for Participation in This Meditation Focus

Consider ...

What is the appropriate way to join in this meditation ... you may wish to participate in group formation on the physical plane as well as on the inner planes. Whether or not you choose to be "alone" on the physical plane, know you are uniting with many others who also are attuning to the energies available at this Global Festival, and that this group focus creates a powerful channel for the meditation to be potent and effective.

If you are unable to meditate at the exact time of the full moon, choose a time within 12 hours before or after to be part of this group meditation.

Prior to your meditation take the needed time to create a sacred space and spiritually align your energies.

We Recognize, the Full Moon Festivals Culminate over a Five-Day Period ...

Our meditation focus beginning at the new moon leads into the two "days of preparation" immediately preceding the full moon. These are to be dedicated to spiritual reflection and detachment from everyday concerns, as each prepares to become a vessel for the energies of light and love they will receive and channel. At this time we hold the attitude of dedication and service, and seek to assume that attitude of receptivity to that which our soul will impart which will make us of spiritual use.

The day of the full moon itself is the "day of safeguarding," one of inner peace and silence during which we attempt to contact and consciously hold the energies for the rest of humanity. We will not formulate for ourselves what will happen, nor will we look for results or tangible effects. While one may not observe the exact moment when the moon is full, it's important to find some quiet time to reflect alone or use this opportunity to meditate with others of like mind and focus.

The two succeeding days are called the "days of distribution." We now turn the attention outwards, away from ourselves, and our efforts are to pass on the spiritual energies that have been contacted. We assist these spiritual energies, transformed into goodwill, in flowing to where there is greatest need.

If you wish, feel free to continue use of this meditation for the entire month of Sagittarius.

We now continue to hold the high space throughout this most auspicious day of the full moon, an important time to still the mind and maintain inner peace, a time of spiritual retreat and contact.

The Full Moon Cycle We Are Observing ...

Sagittarius Synthesis Additional links for further understanding

Sagittarius Labor of Hercules "Sagittarius has sometimes been called 'the sign of the effect of Scorpio'. The moment we have freed ourselves from illusion, that moment we enter into Sagittarius and we see the goal. We have never really seen it before, because between us and the goal there is always to be found that cloud of thought forms that prevents us from seeing it." (11)

Transformation~Pluto Following Pluto's recent transit through the constellation Scorpio, Pluto has been in a lengthy conjunction throughout 2007 with the galactic centre ~ the heart of our galaxy ~ at 27 degrees Sagittarius.

Mutable Cross This is the Cross of temporal and temporary change, of fluidity and of those constantly altering environments driving the soul within the form from one extreme of experience to another, which shuttles the life between the pairs of opposites. (12)
