Souledout.org's Meditation Focus theme for 2009 progresses as we enter the Libra full moon cycle.
Beginning six months ago in Aries, we have been exploring Divine Identification and the Secret of Creation. During the 2009 spring festival cycle, we attuned to the inflow of energies through the Spiritual Kingdom and aligned with this focus. Now, as we continue through the yearly cycle, we are endeavoring to assimilate the new impressions and to integrate these into our service in the world.
We invite all to join us as we continue the Divine Identification Meditation theme for 2009, to embody our awareness of the zodiacal energies of the Lighted Way.
This month, continuing the interlude following the outpouring of the festival full moons begun in Aries, we are taking a haitus from the daily online Calendar focus.

Through Divine Identification
We Become the Path to God.

We choose the way which leads between the two great lines of force. (1)
Equity and equilibrium are qualities brought about through the Light of Libra. We can now reach further balance towards achieving increased soul infusion through the application of Wisdom ~ knowledge gained through experience and implemented with love. (2) This practice describes the narrow, razor-edged path associated with Libra, between the pairs of opposites.
Libra is the point of balance in the zodiac, the place where neither spirit nor matter dominates. During this unfolding lunar cycle culminating at the full moon of Libra-Aries, we may develop the practice of choosing the Way which leads between the two great lines of force, allowing the scales of justice to come into balance.
Presently, a potential is being enlivened and seeds of consciousness are forming deep within. We are called now to assist in the Spiritual Hierarchy's task of setting an example for humanity ~ acting "as if" we are members of the Spiritual Kingdom, to which we aspire.
During this month of the Libran lunar cycle, may we take the time to create a sacred space as all are asked to join in service on the inner planes to bring balance to the present challenges in our world.
As the New Group of World Servers, our vision for the Divine Plan includes
The building of a new economic structure whose purpose is to manifest the growth and development of consciousness. This economy will convert all natural resources to the Spiritual betterment of humanity, meeting the common need whenever and wherever it is focused. (3)
This vision will further manifest the Principle of Sharing for all of humanity, in demonstration of the balance to occur in the economic system as we pursue the Libran Way.
As we explore our relationship with Deity, we may further envision the global economy based on balance and sharing, in which distribution of the world's goods reaches all those in need. Food, fuel, clothing, medical expertise and supplies for everyone in all nations are details of the Plan to be brought about through our dedicated service, as we work together in harmony with Deity.

Guidance in preparing for this meditation
If at all possible, we suggest being in meditation at the exact time of the full moon. For this month's global meditation, we at SouledOut.org will meditate on Saturday, October 3 at 9:00 pm PDT / 04:00 UT October 4, Sunday. All who wish to join in at this time are welcome, however if you are unable to do so, choose a time within 12 hours before or after to participate.
We suggest you pause at points in the Meditation, wherever you are naturally inclined, to allow the energy and information to come in fully, and to be at one with the energies invoked.
Libra ~ The Light that Moves to Rest

is the light that oscillates until a point of balance is achieved.

We mentally link up with people of goodwill everywhere, as part of the united group channel through which the spiritual forces can become available. Affirming this channel, "We stand poised united as One Soul with our Spiritual Hierarchy." We hold the focus. We now visualize and become the Chalice we have created together as a grid of light all over the earth connecting the light of every lightworker and each sacred energy vortex. The Lighted Way The entire zodiac can be approached and understood from the angle of light ~ the inner light, soul light ~ and its unfolding, increasing radiance is the manifestation of our divine nature. (6) Study of the 12 different lights for each of the constellations of the zodiac reveals the symbolic story of the growth of the light body within the Soul of Humanity (the Macrocosm) and within each of us (the Microcosm), and will finally make clear the very purpose of God.
Libra Zodiacal Deity Symbolized by the Balance, Libra represents the full blossoming of material manifestation. This is the sign of balancing the opposites and of equilibrium, by which we learn through crises to find the right alignment. The effect of this balance is harmony, developing our powers of discrimination, and bringing into equilibrium the two-sided forces of duality.
Balance~The Libran Way On the Cardinal Cross, Libra brings order, rhythm, and eventually equilibrium. Libra governs the Way to the Middle, the middle path. The energy of Libra helps us move from the weighing of opposites, judgment, to the place of understanding, the point of balance. In seeking and finding point of balance, the Divine Life is further revealed and from this place all things can be seen in a new light.
The Fact of the Path to God All paths lead to the same place, it is said. "The testimony to the existence of this Path is the priceless treasure of all the great religions." (7) Indeed, that we are able to access this pathway to Deity is a key to our redemption out of matter in our inevitable return to Spirit.
Night Sky ~ Moon Dances During each lunar cycle the Moon, waxing and waning, journeys through the zodiac. It partners with and enlivens the sparkling stars and glowing planets along the way. As the Moon grows in the light provided by our Sun, we too grow in the light of our Soul.
A new lunar cycle begins September 18. Virgo the Virgin wearing a crown of jewels awakens humanity from its spiritual slumber. "This is not an ordinary time." Lunar Theme: The Word Made Flesh.
September 21-26 Luna lies low as she grows and we reflect on the HU-man being, surrender to the Scorpion's Fire of Life and ponder the pathway of the Archer. October 3/4 a Full Luna lies between a tail and wing, while we perform a balancing act with matter and spirit, light and dark, personality and soul to hopefully harvest a HU-man being!

Preparation for Participation in This Meditation Focus
If at all possible, we suggest being in meditation at the exact time of the full moon. If you are unable to do this, choose a time within 12 hours before or after to align with these energies and be part of this global meditation.
Prior to your meditation take the needed time to create a sacred space and spiritually align your energies.
Consider what is the appropriate way to join in this meditation ... you may wish to participate in group formation on the physical plane as well as on the inner planes. Whether or not you choose to be "alone" on the physical plane, know you are uniting with many others who also are attuning to the energies available at this Global Festival, and that this group focus creates a powerful channel for the meditation to be potent and effective.
The Full Moon Festivals Culminate over a Five-Day Period ...
Our meditation focus beginning at the new moon leads into the two "days of preparation" immediately preceding the full moon. These are to be dedicated to spiritual reflection and detachment from everyday concerns, as each prepares to become a vessel for the energies of light and love they will receive and channel. At this time we hold the attitude of dedication and service, and seek to assume that attitude of receptivity to that which our soul will impart which will make us of spiritual use.
The day of the full moon itself is the "day of safeguarding," one of inner peace and silence during which we attempt to contact and consciously hold the energies for the rest of humanity. We will not formulate for ourselves what will happen, nor will we look for results or tangible effects. While one may not observe the exact moment when the moon is full, it's important to find some quiet time to reflect alone or use this opportunity to meditate with others of like mind and focus.
The two succeeding days are called the "days of distribution." We now turn the attention outwards, away from ourselves, and our efforts are to pass on the spiritual energies that have been contacted. We assist these spiritual energies, transformed into goodwill, in flowing to where there is greatest need.
We now continue to hold the high space throughout this most auspicious day of the full moon, an important time to still the mind and maintain inner peace, a time of spiritual retreat and contact. If you wish, feel free to continue use of this meditation for the entire month of Virgo.

Divine Truths of Deity These basic truths are commonly held by all the world's revealed religions.
Libra Labor of Hercules The seventh great test of Hercules in Libra, in which Hercules is charged with caputring the Erymanthian Boar, is about learning balance and sound judgment. "... Hercules seizes the hind legs of the boar, and compels the beast to walk down the mountainside on its front legs, and ... this spectacle excites the laughter of all who witness it. Principle of Freedom The Principle of Freedom and the Principle of Liberation are related to Libra, for we are told, "the secret of liberation lies in the balancing of the forces and the equilibrising of the pairs of opposites." (10) Libra pertains to freedom: freedom from the personality, freedom from blindness, or freedom from all the seven planes of our planetary existence ~ the planes which are sometimes referred to as the arenas of human and superhuman evolution.

Cardinal Cross According to Alice A. Bailey, Libra upon the Cardinal Cross rules the human subjective and spiritual life. "The Cardinal Cross brings about cosmic awareness." (11)
