a Heavenly Christmas and Everyone's Invited! "What am I identifying with?" is the conscious choice we each make, every day. We practice identification with the highest aspect in all and actively express this, in our service in the world. When the shift of our consciousness is away from identifying with the lower forms of experience into that of identification as the real and true Self, the ability to tread the middle way between the pairs of opposites and the capacity to use the intuition are expressions of this identification.
Eventually each human light masters the third initiation, mounting the cardinal cross. For all disciples having previously passed this initiation and aspirants in preparation for it, each and every day there is call to take or retake the initiatory tests in which we prove our capacity to demonstrate in our service the quality of Soul. We now resolve to do so, ever more consistently and earnestly than before. From the perspective of our planet, at this time in evolution we are becoming cognizant of the third Great Approach, "... which will bring the new revelation, with its realised consequences, of a new heaven and a new earth." (2) Humanity's identification is called to further alignment with the Divine.
The third initiation, the Transfiguration, marks the fusing of soul and personality, and at the new year we may be reminded of the words of the Christ, who "... said, when on Earth: 'I and my Father are One,' and in these words epitomised His entire message. I, the individual, through initiation, am identified with Deity." 2012 Capricorn Meditation The Full Moon in Capricorn ~ Cancer We mentally link up with people of goodwill everywhere, as part of the united group channel through which the spiritual forces can become available. Affirming this channel, "We stand poised united as One Soul with our Spiritual Hierarchy." We hold the focus. We now visualize and become the Chalice we have together created, as a grid of light all over the earth connecting the light of every lightworker and each sacred energy vortex. is the light which clears the way to the mountain top, Capricorn Zodiacal Deity Symbolized by the Mountain, Capricorn awakens us to the higher frequency of spirit and the nonform. "In Capricorn we have the triumph of matter; it reaches its densest and most concrete expression; but this triumph is followed by that of spirit. There is full expression of the earthly nature in Capricorn, but also immense spiritual possibilities." (8) Initiation is the result of this process. Capricorn Labor of Hercules "The light of life must now shine forth within a world of dark," begins Labor X of Hercules in Capricorn, in which Hercules slays Cerberus, guardian of Hades. Freedom, silence, and impersonality mark the Capricorn challenge to climb the mountain and then descend into hell. Cosmic Identification It is through the practice of identification with the Divine Life itself that we may begin to comprehend the nature of Spirit. And, to bring Spirit fully into our daily lives is service to the One. New Group of World Servers Members of this group desire to uplift, teach and help others. They are identified by the selflessness of their service to the world and lack of personal ambition, coupled with a willingness to work behind the scenes without recognition. The Spiritual Kingdom Manifests We approach the Hierarchy and as this occurs, Humanity evolves into the Spiritual Kingdom. One with The Divine When the Planetary Logos connects with the Solar Logos, Shamballa ~ or the Will of God ~ is their point of union. (9) We are called to connect there with Them, and in this way to embrace the Plan of Love and Light. Yoga of Synthesis As we focus on the Oneness of All, we are able to express the self in light of the larger perspective and thereby assist in bringing through the Divine Plan and Purpose. If you are unable to do this, choose a time within 12 hours before or after to align with these energies and be part of this global meditation.
Prior to your meditation take the needed time to create a sacred space and spiritually align your energies. Consider what is the appropriate way to join in this meditation ... you may wish to participate in group formation on the physical plane as well as on the inner planes. Whether or not you choose to be "alone" on the physical plane, know you are uniting with many others who also are attuning to the energies available at this Global Festival, and that this group focus creates a powerful channel for the meditation to be potent and effective. The Full Moon Festivals Culminate over a Five-Day Period ... Our meditation focus beginning at the new moon leads into the two "days of preparation" immediately preceding the full moon. These are to be dedicated to spiritual reflection and detachment from everyday concerns, as each prepares to become a vessel for the energies of light and love they will receive and channel. At this time we hold the attitude of dedication and service, and seek to assume that attitude of receptivity to that which our soul will impart which will make us of spiritual use. The day of the full moon itself is the "day of safeguarding," one of inner peace and silence during which we attempt to contact and consciously hold the energies for the rest of humanity. We will not formulate for ourselves what will happen, nor will we look for results or tangible effects. While one may not observe the exact moment when the moon is full, it's important to find some quiet time to reflect alone or use this opportunity to meditate with others of like mind and focus. The two succeeding days are called the "days of distribution." We now turn the attention outwards, away from ourselves, and our efforts are to pass on the spiritual energies that have been contacted. We assist these spiritual energies, transformed into goodwill, in flowing to where there is greatest need. We now continue to hold the high space throughout this most auspicious day of the full moon, an important time to still the mind and maintain inner peace, a time of spiritual retreat and contact. (10) Cardinal Cross According to Alice A. Bailey, in connection with humanity, Capricorn is the "sign of importance" on the Cardinal Cross. (11) The Demonstrated Existence of Our Spiritual Hierarchy As the externalization of the Hierarchy manifests on behalf of planet earth, we are able to recognize and appreciate the masters who grace our world through their service to humanity and to all the kingdoms of nature. The Christ Light In many lands and civilizations this time of year has been associated with the coming of a Sun-God to save the world ~ bringing light and fruitfulness to the earth, and bringing hope to humanity. (12) This energy is honored and recognized by many spiritual traditions and is not uniquely Christian. Christ, the son of God, indeed did come to us in the dark of the year and initiated a new era, wherein light was to be the distinguishing note: "I am the light, I am the way." This Lighted Way is the illumined path to the Divine and the means to evolve right human relations. The Lighted Way The entire zodiac can be approached and understood from the angle of light ~ the inner light, soul light ~ and its unfolding, increasing radiance is the manifestation of our divine nature. (14) Study of the 12 different lights for each of the constellations of the zodiac reveals the symbolic story of the growth of the light body within the Soul of Humanity (the Macrocosm) and within each of us (the Microcosm), and will finally make clear the very purpose of God.
