You are invited to align with this cycle's planetary hierarchical meditation beginning each year at the December Solstice in preparation for the outpouring of spiritual energies at the upcoming Wesak event.

9:30 pm PST / 05:30 UT 12/22 Thursday

We at SouledOut.org will meditate as a group at 9:30 pm PST on Wednesday, December 21 (05:30 UT Thursday, December 22). All who wish to join in along with us are welcome, however if you are unable to do so, choose a time within 12 hours before or after the solstice to participate in this planetary meditation.

In honor of this cycle's solstice observation, we are inspired to dedicate the 24-hour period from sunset on Wednesday, December 21 until sunset Thursday, December 22 to the high meditation, taking place on the inner planes at the time of the solstice.

On this important day, all are encouraged to observe this planetary event as inspired, becoming empty and receptive to the inflowing energies. We suggest the use of a candle (or other light) in the window to represent the Spirit being invoked as we connect with the spiritual Hierarchy.

Throughout this day of receptivity, we ask all to attune to the seed energy for the spiritual year to conceive all that is needed, may be provided.

Solstice Meditation

In observing the Solstice event, we suggest use of the following guided meditation, as you are inspired. Do feel free to pause at points, wherever you are naturally inclined, to allow the energy and information to come in fully, and to be at one with the energies invoked.

We begin by creating a sacred space, stilling the mind to create an alignment for inner peace.

We mentally link up with people of goodwill everywhere. We visualize and become the Chalice, a grid of light all over the earth connecting the light of every lightworker and each sacred energy vortex. We are part of the united group channel through which the spiritual forces can become available. Affirming this channel, "We stand poised united as One Soul with our Spiritual Hierarchy."

We hold the focus and are meditatively receptive. We open to impression for the new spiritual cycle and hold this space for as long as inspired.

Following the meditation, we are joined by Lightworkers on high to intone The Great Invocation. (*) We continue to hold the high space and maintain inner peace, and use this most auspicious time of the Solstice for spiritual retreat and contact.

Significance of the December Solstice

At certain ancient cairns in Ireland the sun only reaches deep inside on the winter solstice, only on that one day is the inner chamber lit ... like the celestial body of male Sun impregnating the Mother Earth with rays of light.

At the winter solstice the sun reaches its southernmost position from the northern hemisphere perspective (**), and begins to move northward as it enters into the cardinal, earth sign Capricorn. Through the ages, the period when the sun moves northward again ~ from the winter solstice to the summer solstice ~ has been regarded as a festival season. In many lands and civilizations the winter solstice season has been associated with the coming of a Sun-God to save the world ~ bringing light and fruitfulness to the earth, and bringing hope to humanity. (1)

The work of getting ready for the opportunity [Wesak] starts for the Hierarchy exactly at the hour when "the sun began to move northward." But They tire not as do human beings and it is not possible for the human aspirant to keep up so long a period of preparation, no matter how deep their devotion. (2)

The Hierarchy, entrusted with the spiritual guidance for our planet and particularly for humanity, begins a meditation at the December Solstice in preparation for the Three Major Spiritual Festivals.

Near the December Solstice the sun conjoins the Heart of the Milky Way Galaxy ~ our Galactic Center (GC) ~ while the orbit of earth brings our planet closest to our physical sun. Earth at perihelion, which occurs annually around January 2 – 4, is also the time the Earth is in conjunction with our Spiritual Sun, Sirius. This produces a powerful relationship between the Heart of our Galaxy, the sun, the earth, Sirius, and the planetary Hierarchy, whose meditation invokes alignment with the energies of our Spiritual Sun, Sirius. All potent heart energies align.

For this current time period, from 1980 to 2016, the December Solstice Sun is presently in the galactic alignment zone, with exact conjunction of the Sun and GC having occurred in December 1998. In the article, What is Galactic Alignment?, these years are referred to as the "era-2012."

There is only one time period in a nearly 26,000-year cycle heralding the Turning of the Ages when the December Solstice aligns with the intersection near Galactic Center. The Center of our Galaxy ... is a huge black hole that acts as a Divine transmitter and receiver. The pure energy pouring forth from here may be utilized in our conscious co-creative process to amplify and transmit new programs of operation and awareness directly to the DNA. (3)

The astronomical and meditative timing of this cycle aligns solar energies with the transmissions of galactic intelligence into our solar system. This event also simultaneously produces a powerful relationship occurring each year between our earth, the sun (our physical source of light and life) the Hierarchy and Sirius (our spiritual source of light and life).

One suggestion is to meditate outside facing the Sun, which is aligned with the Heart of our Galaxy and let in as much light energy as possible. Invoke the greatest good to work in you and through you.

The planetary Hierarchy’s invocative alignment and meditative reception draws in the spiritual light of the new cycle, for the Hierarchy stands as a bridge between our planet and the forces of the cosmic realms.

We can clearly see that the December solstice is a potent, cyclic point on the Divine continuum of light. This and all similar points where we come together with soul's intention are about the Light, the promise of the Divine ~ which, with this great work, is made ever more real within us all.

Now the sun is again moving northward and there comes for you renewed opportunity and the possibility of a powerful period of release from your lower nature and from the claims which hold you so potently. (4)

**The Northern and Southern Hemispheres

During the northern hemisphere’s winter solstice, when the sun appears to stand still as it begins to move northward, it is the summer solstice in the southern hemisphere, where the sun's apparent path will begin each day to move farther south. Both of these solstices occur at the same time, every December.

Those in both hemispheres experience the sun, moon and planets in the same constellations; only the seasons are opposite. Southern hemisphere observers see the zodiacal constellations further north.

The northern hemisphere's "Spring Festivals" are the southern hemisphere's "Autumn Festivals." For the southern hemisphere the Wesak Full Moon during the sign of Taurus occurs in the season of autumn. For both hemispheres, the Festival Full Moons and planetary positions appear among the same stars and planets.
